Should you eat junk food and lift weights?

Ideally, nobody should ever eat junk food. Usually, junk food contains a lot of refined, processed carbohydrates. These should be kept to a minimum. However, in the anabolic window that opens immediately after serious strength training, you may have some high glycemic index carbs as well as protein because the carbs will help get the protein into your cells faster.

How does weed work?

the way that i see it is that weed goes into your lungs(if you know how to hit it).then it goes into your system(if you smoke a good amount).after that it goes into your brain and kills the bad cell and makes you relax(or if you don't blazz it makes you trip out).

How can you get ripped at 13. im not trying to get real big i just want to get girls my age to notice me more. so i guess i want to get more attractive?

At the age of 13 your body can get rid of fat very easily but I would not recommend you to get that ripped. But if you wanna show some muscle separations and ab muscles, then start doing push ups and situps on alternate days. And do 20-30 mins of running on non training day. Avoid junk food and eat healthy food so that you will get into shape soon.

What is resistence training?

Resistance Training is simply the basic workout of lunges, push-ups, sit-ups, walking, running at a slow and steady pace, and stretching. It is mostly used for warm-ups at the beginning of an intense or more than 30 minute work out. If you want something to get you pumped for more or maybe just getting relaxed then I would choose to practice Resistance Training daily and allow 1 or 2 day a week breaks.

I am 16 years old 6ft and 70kg and you want to have strong muscles and get six abs should i eat evrything you can?

To get (visible) abs you need two things;

1) whopping great belly muscles

2) very little subcutaneous(under the skin) fat to get 1) is eas, if a bit tedious. Do a couple of hundred situps and crunches each day and they'll be yours within a few weeks. Getting to 2) is more difficult, because we're meant to have some of that fat. It's our insulation, our padding and our energy reserve. Without it we get more prone to fall sick, to be cold and generally be low on energy. And no, you shouldn't be eating everything. With the foodstuffs available today being so high in sugars and fats it's definitely a better idea for you to avoid the sodas and the deep fried. Then of course you need to exercise. At your age, a mixed routine is best. you should have some endurance training and some strength training. Don't go crazy with the weights. Start off easy and work yourself up.

Who is considered to be the strongest man ever have lived?

You could give all kinds of answers to this based on different feats and records. I think the most compelling argument is for Paul Anderson, a strongman from the 1950's. He won Olympic Gold and set world records despite little training in the Olympic lifts, horrible technique and a 103 degree fever. He was listed for a while n the Guiness Book of world records for a back lift of 10,000 lbs (the lifter gets under a table and with his back against the underside of the table and has to break all four legs from the ground) but this was later withdrawn due to questions about the true weight. He is still credited with the heaviest ever verified back lift of 6,270 lbs. He did full squats with 1200 lbs many times in exhibitions before many witnesses in an age before high tech lifting suits and steroids. This feat has never been duplicated with the highest ever "raw" squat in modern competitions being 1000 lbs.

Bill Kazmaeir has my vote for most impressive competitor ever in "The World's Strongest Man" competition with 3 championships and awe inspiring performances that sometimes requires the officials to re-write the rules. For what it is worth Mr. Kazmaier referred to Paul Anderson as "the king of strength".

Of the "lifts" done with defined weights using a well defined method the deadlift is probably the "purest" one, meaning that it relies the least on equipment, technique and judging. By this standardBenedikt Magnusson could claim the title by virtue of his 1.015 pound lift.

What is the most widely accepted personal training certification?

It's pretty much felt that the ACSM is the "gold standard" for PT certifications. As far as "widely accepted", ACE will probably get you in the door of any gym. However, any gym that truly knows their stuff will take ACSM over ACE any day, all things being equal. After ACSM, I'd recommend either the NSCA or NASM. Whatever route you choose, make sure it is at least accredited by the NCCA. Everyone doesn't have time to go out to a gym and work but that doesn't mean stop exercising. To own a home gym review is great in that case.

Why does weight lifting use the anaerobic system?

weight lifting uses the anaerobic system because no matter which sport or which event you are doing your body will always use this system first in total this system only lasts around 60-90 seconds so if the event is shorter than this they would have only used their anaerobic system however if the event is longer than this and they are still not using oxygen then they will ge ta uil up of lactic acid and if they are using oxygen( aerobically) they will be able to convert the pyruvic acid (substance which comes before lactic acid) into ATP thus creating movement

so weightlifting is an anaerobic system and no matter how heavy the weight may be as long as the event lasts less than a maximum of 90 seconds then it will remain anaerobic

haha wqent into a bit of detail there but

Why is it that weight training is just for men?

It isn't.

But men are generally bigger, and can have a larger proportion of muscle mass, so they can get better at it.

Men in general are more interested than women in becoming stronger.

How much you can bench press is a more popular topic of discussion among men than among women.

Weight training can also make you more muscular, more stocky, which is a more popular look for men than for women.

But anybody can do weight training, and everybody can benefit from it.

If you're worried about what body shape you'll end up with, this is easily controlled through the type of exercises you do and how you do them.

When should you drink muscle milk powder and can it serve as a meal replacement?

Try to avoid muscle milk, it may be high in protein but it is also high in unwanted sugars and fats canceling out the benefits of the protein. Invest in a better drink that has low fat, low cards, but high protein. This is how unwanted weight is gained (not muscle weight, bloated fat weight).

Why are some weight lifting machines movable pulley?

Movable pulleys allow you to adjust your exercise to target different muscles or work them in different ways, and adjust the machine to better work with your body size and shape.

What is the Difference between power clean and clean pull in weight lifting?

A "clean pull" is the pull that is part of the clean. However, it does not end in "clean" (a catfish is a type of fish, not a cat), so it is not a clean or power clean, as the bar is never racked in the shoulders. Also, a power clean must be caught and racked with the thighs always at or above parallel.
