It is best to built up to things and state the case for both heroes but in this case there is rule of thumb that must be obeyed.

That rule is simple: Batman always wins.

Wolverine has every advantage going for him but consider this small fact: The Justice League are the most powerful heroes ever to exist, the strongest JLA team completely outclasses the strongest X-Men, Avengers or Fantastic Four team; they are Gods walking on Earth: And yet they are all scared of Batman.

That is right. Gods on Earth. Beings who can literally crack planets in two are terrified of a man with no powers. Why?

Trained to beyond Olympic level athleticism, acrobatics and stamina. One of the single greatest martial artists to walk the planet. An incredible detective, phenomenally well read and a scientist of the highest order. Yet these are just window dressing. It isn't even the costume, the attitude or the gadgets... it is just him. Bruce Wayne is one of the most intelligent people to have ever lived and this is topped with a single-minded focus as sharp as a razor.

Before we review Wolverine just remember this: Superman, J'onn Jonzz, Wonder Woman, The Flash, The Green Lantern, Zatanna, Plastic Man, Aquaman, Atom and Captain Marvel... Individually capable of taking out the entirety of the rest of the DC or Marvel Universe... all scared of a normal human being; or to quote Superman "The most dangerous man on the planet."

Now it won't be easy. Wolverine is almost as skilled a fighter as Bruce Wayne. He is a trained samurai with additional ninja training too. His skeleton is laced with unbreakable adamantium and provides him with a razor sharp claws. He has a healing factor that has yet to be tested to destruction despite some extremely nasty treatment at the hands of his enemies. Oh and he has a degree of super-strength. Oh and mutant senses. And the hair.

Wolverine can lose his temper and when he does he has a tendency to destroy everything and anyone who gets in his way. Logan is aware that he has a weight-class but it isn't that he punches above it he just doesn't care. If he fails, big deal it was worth a crack.

He is a rather driven chap, burn his face off, shot him, poison him, cut him to pieces, drop him off a building... you're really just going to make him mad; which is a bad idea, honestly.

There is another rule of thumb. If you want to sell a few extra copies of Wizard magazine or save a dying Marvel comic you put Wolverine on the cover. But popularity isn't everything. However... Batman is the the second most recognisable icon in the world (after the guy who named him the most dangerous person in the world) so Wolverine can't even win on this score.

On paper it is simple. Fantastic superpowers, experience and the berserker rage Vs a bloke in a cave wearing a cape. Unfortunately for Wolverine the stats are meaningless he has finally met his match.

First of the guy up top has some good points but he is underestimating wolverine now im a major fan of both wolverine comes first batman a close second. There is no way batman would lose to wolverine and there is no way wolverine can lose to batman. First of batmans batman secondly wolverine cant die virtually impossible. SO ITS A DRAW, but consider this after the fight is finished wolverine will still have batmans scent then while batman is sleeping during the day wolverine will infiltrate his mansion and kill bats in his sleep but still i rank it a draw

It depends on the condition. For instance, an amazing Spider-Man #25 without a cover, and with a folded and creased binding is almost nothing. But a near mint, with no water damage, no creasing, no writing, etc can go for about 50-100 dollars.

It depends of the grade. And if the grade is CGC certified which will bring the price up as buyers will know what they are getting so will pay more. I purchased a grade 9.2 for $2000USD. Which is current 2012 value. 9.6 up you can pay 4x that plus.

Cyclops aka Scott Summers has the ability to shoot red concussive force beams out of his eyes. They are NOT lasers. This ability is uncontrollable from a childhood accident, leaving his brain damaged, though this has been disputed by several people stating other reasons over the years.

Well when he was just a kid he killed a man who claimed to kill his father, but the man he killed was actually his father. Wolverine' [Logan at the time] had killed the guy with boney claws that had just slid out of his knuckles. Then he realized his older brother had the same abilities as him, strength, claws, and a healing factor. Once they later realized they never aged, they faught off in all the wars of the country. But later closer to the present he realized his brother and another group of men killed his wife, and other mutants. Then he comes to the government on a secret experiment... to inject adotanium [a very strong metal], into his skeletan. After the injection and lots of pain he had tripled his strength and his claws were now adotanium, and nearly un-breakable. But before he tried to leave, the government wanted to erase his mind to hide the fact he ever knew he had the claws, so that the rest of the government didn't find out. But Logan didn't want to and broke the heck out of there, and killed most of their men. He eventually tracks down gambit [a magical gladiator/hero that has playing cards as weapons] that claims he was captured by striker [the man who injected the metal into logans body] and when he was captured striker planned to kill him and capture other mutants like him. Then Gambit and Logan break into striker's base and save the rest of the mutants. But then they realize striker made a new and improved Logan. He called him x-man #2. [The name x-man came up when striker used Logan as his tenth experiment. X is the roman numeral for ten.] This new wolverine'' was EVEN STRONGER and tried to kill him. They soon battle on the edge of a gigantic building and wolverine chops x-man #2's head off. Just as he dies he shoots wolverine with a strong bullet that cuts out the memory part of his brain. After the battle, he doesn't know who he is, and once he finds his brother, he beats the heck out of him as well because he thinks he's trying to kill him. But when gambit comes to help him, Logan pushes him out of the way and runs away. He soon lives in the middle of Alaska i do believe, and then he finds the mutant rouge who leads him to the x-men team.
