I my self is from a broken family, my own mom kicked me out when i was 14. shipped me off and now i can honestly say the broken family part is nothing as much of the hate i feel for my my mother. it causes anger at the one who broke the family the only thing you can do to help the anger is to get counseled.

Childish. My father is a self-centered, cruel, rude man, and my mother is a childish, passive-aggressive woman. Both my sisters are just like them, and any time you try to have a real discussion about our family problems, they tell me I'm too sensitive and paranoid. Which I find odd, as only they ever describe me as such. Nobody else ever says anything remotely simliar.

Some people just have children because they feel like they should, not because they are emotionally stable and mature enough.

its not really our families you need to know describe your family by what they are not what someone else may think. every family is different, you never know what you are gonna find. Some families are started because people are ready for it sometime it just happens and they work through it other time you never know what you are gonna find

it is the same as normall bullying. degrading someone or hurting them to be mean or feel some kind of power over them.however in normal bullying the bully is NT in a relationship with the person being bullyed so they do not have the same resources or amo as the person n the relationship.

You can't force him to spend time with you, unfortunately, and there may be other factors involved... he may have to work long hours with little downtime, or he may have hard feelings from the past, or disappointments with himself or his career, that make him want to avoid family. (Do not, I repeat, do NOT blame yourself for this.) When you do see him, make it clear that you want your dad in your life, and want to see him more often. Maybe you can travel to him, or stay with him more? Don't forget to consider his feelings in the matter... and of course, be on your best behavior, whether he's around or not.
