In my opinion, arguing can both strengthen and weaken a relationship. My boyfriend, Bob, and I dated for almost 2 years being perfectly happy and never arguing. All of a sudden Bob decided he was unhappy and cheated on me. FIGURES. However, a recent boyfriend of mine liked to argue all the time. WE WERE SO IN LOVE. that's it.

• Grow up! You and your brother at your ages are certainly not angels and never were meant to be. You did not mention your father. Your mother loves you whether you believe that or not, but she has her own financial worries; trying to give you both a roof over your head; food in your stomachs and teaching good moral standards so you end up with good paying jobs. Yes, mothers can get upset and perhaps pass the blame where it shouldn't be, but when you can say you have never done that to anyone you know then you can complain. Go ahead and report your mother to Social Services because you and your brother could well end up in foster care and that is no picnic! Start talking to your mom; get off your butts and do chores and try to help your mom out more. If want respect then earn it!

If the person seems to have little time for you, and is distracted by something else, or only sees you at certais times and not when you want to see them, it could be that you are being kept in reserve. You would be given just enough attention to keep you keen so that you don't lose interest, but never as much as you want. When someone really likes you, they want to be with you, to share with you and to communicate with you as much as possible. If that is not the case, it is likely that you are not the only one in the other person's life or you are being used for what they can get.
