This one can be great fun but be sure you have the full support of your spouse. I've done all of the following and it works GREAT: 1. Buy a doberman. This works especially well if your in-laws are terrified of dogs. The wonderful thing about dobermans is they are amazingly sweet and affectionate with their owners and absolutely scary with everyone else. 2. Establish rules for visitation. I have put a rule in place with my friends and family that if you do not call before you come to my home I will NOT answer the door. Yes I am inside. Yes my car is in the driveway. But this is my home and my time if you do not respect me enough to call in advance your trip will be wasted. The first time this happens they really get the message. Stand firm!! 3. Develop annoying habits. Find something that you know truly annoys your in-laws whether it be smoking, talking on your cell while they're sitting there, playing loud music or clipping your toenails. Do this everytime they come over and the desire to visit you will be less and less. 4. Return the favor. Pop up at their house around two in the morning. Have lots of energy, talk loud and fast and hug alot. They will get the idea.

* If you can afford it go away to a small resort by a nice lake; go out for a romantic dinner and stay in a nice hotel room for the evening or, have a romantic dinner making his favorite foods with wine and perhaps other alcohol he enjoys later in the evening at home; lots of candles around with the lights dim. If the weather is cool to cold then put out a nice blanket in front of the fireplace with some fancy pillows. Have some romantic music softly in the background. i would say talk to him but if he looks at you this way maybe communication is down so what you need to do is be your best the amazing woman he fell in love with be yourself be beautiful and the openness you once had at the beginning of your romance will come back right now you have to make him comfortable enough to talk about your problems and then deal with him gently when a men only stares at you like he hates he is very delicate and will need time to heal and you need to respect whatever he needs if you love him you are a wonderful person and wife remind him of it by being wonderful
