The nation that lies between Honduras and Costa Rica is Nicaragua. Nicaragua is also the largest country in Central America. Its capital city is Managua.

As a functioning country, Nicaragua has people employed doing every conceivable job. Because the country is poor, many activities generate small amounts of income. Leaving the obvious out - i.e. doctors, lawyers, bus-drivers and restauranteurs - there are may ways foreigners can have an income in Nicaragua - most of them involve being resourceful and finding a niche that is underserved in a specific community. In Granada, for instance, many foreigners run restaurants, such as pizzerias, or cafés, while others teach English or do computer work. Bilingualism has advantages in tourist destinations, but generally speaking, Nicaragua is not rich, so having multiple income streams is the best way to get ahead.

You should note that when international politics and diplomacy are involved, there are no real friends but different countries with common or diverging interests that more often than not, end up in 'friendly rivalries', contempt or even outright war.

The US does not have the right to get involved in the affairs of any other nation, but diplomacy and national interests usually end up like that: bigger powers often meddle on the internal affairs of less powerful nations, to the extreme of bullying and even invading them. Even now, the US is actively involved in the internal affairs of several developing nations, including Mexico, Colombia and Nicaragua; it is just that nowadays the media has paid more attention to the Middle East and China.

It would be an easier question to ask what are not problems that Honduras faces. Honduras has extreme poverty, poor education, insecurity, political and social unstability, and general pollution, just to mention some of the problems.

Nicaragua, along with all of Central America are part of North America, NOT South America. This is a common misconception. Nicaragua is located in Central America,a central geographic region of the Americas. It is variably defined either as the southern portion of North America, which connects with South America on the southeast.

"Central Americans" is a general term for anyone from Central America. If you want to get specific than you would say "Nicaraguans" if you're speaking in English or "Nicaragüenses" if you're speaking in Spanish.

If you meet a group of friends at a bar who happen to be from Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panam and you ask where they're from they might just say they are "Central American" to sum it up. If you get to know one person specifically and ask where they're from they might say "Nicaraguan".

So either "Central American" or "Nicaraguan" is fine.

Costa Rica is located between Nicaragua and Panama. Both countries are bordered by the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.

There are some mountains in Costa Rica, the highest is over 12000 feet high.

The national sport of Nicaragua is baseball, although boxing, soccer and fishing are also very popular. Because of the number of fresh water lakes, as well as the two coastlines, diving and surfing are also very popular.

Nicaragua is a very diverse country geographically speaking and so, near the coasts, there are lots of watersports, and inland, in the mountains, you can hike and bike.

However, Nicaraguans are mainly fans of their beloved baseball. The list of famous baseball players from Nicaragua includes: George Lopez, Dennis Martinez, Tony Chevez, as well as several other well known Major Baseball League players.

The blue represents the sky and the beautiful waters. The white represents the land.

Incorrect. The two bands of blue represents the two oceans that surround Nicaragua, the Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean. The white in the middle represents peace. Which there really hasn't been much.

Managua is the capital city of Nicaragua.

The patron saint of Costa Roca is the Virgen de los Angeles (Our Lady of the Angels), also known as La Negrita (the Black Virgin). This is a small, probably indigenous representation of the Virgin Mary that was reportedly found by a native woman in 1635.

There are a lot of tourist attractions in Nicaragua. But the best one is MonteliMar. It is a very nice resort. There is a beach towards the back and has about 5 interconnected pools with a snack and drink bar in the center!
