Your best choice is to go to a local music store. DONT buy from eBay, because they don't have good quality ones.

As a jazz trumpet player myself buying a trumpet is a case of your finance and your level of aptitude.

Generally Trumpets come in three flavours Student, intermediate and professional. The cost changes accordingly.

I learned to play when I was a kid using a Skylark trumpet which was a cheap Chinese made instrument. Eventually (After 5 years) it literally fell to pieces. (This cost $10 from a second hand store)

My son has started to learn to play and I have bought him a Yamaha 1335 which is a learners trumpet but has most of the features of a more expensive one. (About $400)

I personally play a 1952 Getzen Super Deluxe Trumpet, A Getzen Sevrinson 1974, a York (B&H stencil), and a Rudy Muck from 1958. However if I had the money available I'd invest in a an Olds super recording trumpet from 1957. These range from about $800 to $1500. These are all old but professional level collectors horns. Modern good brands are Conn, Getzen, Yamaha, Jupiter (A cheap copy of the Yamaha).

You can buy from Ebay, but you have to know what to look for. Many of the legitamate music shops use Ebay to supplement their income and therefore sell reasonable quality instruments. But as the previous poster intimated there are a lot of junk brass instruments out there and they don't all necessarily compe from China.

China assembles almost all the brass instruments in the world for the top named companies in Europe and the states so just saying they are Chinese isn't really a measure of quality. It's whose stamp is on the horn that usually tells you if its worth buying.

What are the lyrics to taps on the trumpet?

Day is done,
gone the sun,
from the lakes
from the hills
from the sky,
all is well,
safely, rest,
God is near.

Fading light,
Dims the sight,
And a star gems the sky
Gleaming bright,
From afar,
Drawing, near,
Falls the night.

Thanks and praise,
For our days,
Neath the sun
Neath the stars
Neath the sky,
As we go,
This, we, know,
God is near.

* Note: At least some versions have "nigh" as the last word of the first and third stanzas; this means the same thing, but rhymes better with "sky."

What is the best thing to clean a trumpet with?

If your trumpet has gotten really funky, go buy a trumpet cleaning brush (long flexible spring with brushes on the ends). # Pull out all of the slides and the valves. # Set your valves aside and take the rest of the trumpet to the kitchen sink (while your mom's not watching). # Soak the horn in warm soapy water for a few minutes and pull the brush through all of the tubing. # Rinse everything really well in cool water, let it dry and grease all of the slides and reassemble. # Wipe your valves down with a dry cotton cloth and put a couple drops of valve oil on them and reassemble them into the horn. # Last thing: go clean the funk out of the sink.

How is the Trumpet played?

In undivided interest of property if all are on the note and 1 decides to stop paying their share of the note Can the others foreclose on that person and take their share away from them?

The answer is most likely "no". The relationship which gives rise to the power to foreclose is between the lender or seller and the buyer or buyers, not between joint buyers. The relationship between buyers, or joint owners will determine among them how to enforce joint payment of the mortgage. Is there a contract between the buyers? Is it written or oral? If oral is there a documented practice between the buyers? How this is resolved will depend on what state the property is located in.
