Where are some good places nation wide to eat as a gluten free vegan?

It's tough to be gluten free AND vegan but "health food" or Asian restaurants are good. Just avoid tempura, egg rolls, wontons, and wheat noodles. Vegan sushi, or rice/veggie/tofu combos are often gluten free. Sometimes Mexican food (I typically order veggie tacos w/corn tortillas) will do; Indian food if you avoid bread can also work (ask server about ingredients as dairy is often in Indian food). Salad bars give you some vegan/gluten free options, and even the most carnivorous restaurants often have potatoes/salad (I know, where's the protein?) as "side dishes".

In general, a diet based on (gluten free) whole grains, veggies, nuts and seeds, and beans will suffice. Check out macrobiotic cuisine!

Should the ball spin on a hoop ear cartilage piercing?

I assume that you're talking about a captive ball ring. The ball is probably just too loose. Just tighten the ring around the ball by squeezing the ring with pliers. Unless of course you have ring closers. Those are easier to use but pliers do in a pinch. If you don't tighten it, the worst that could happen is that the ball falls out and you lose it. If that happens, you could put a piece of eraser or clay in place of the ball for temporary use.

My rash appeared within hours of trimming the leaves from a huge agave we have in the yard. I'm using peroxide and medicated power to help calm the redness and itching.

What do you do if you are allergic to cat pelt and have cats?

"Cat" allergies are not usually to the cat or their fur but to dander or to mites. First find out what you are allergic to from your doctor as there are multiple treatments available. Second, there are allergy shampoos that you can use to bathe your cat. These cut down on the allergens. Also, be sure to wash you hands after petting the cat, keep the cat out of your bedroom, and keep you cat indoors. It's been proven that indoor/outdoor or just outdoor cats bathe themselves more and their saliva may be what you are allergic to as well.

What causes you to smell dust all the time even though your house is clean?

From my own experience, could be several causes (sometimes they exist even simultaneously):

A. could be triggered by a food allergy - observe especially if your nasal mucous membrane becomes dry after ingesting certain foods. Possible foods triggering this:

- diary

- certain additives or extracts in food

- some pesticides or preservatives (even a treated tea)

- even maybe some food triggering cross allergy with some organic dust you are allready respiratory-allergic too

B. Could be a delayed respiratory answer to an allergen in a building air conditioning system.

C. Could be continuous exposure to:

- a detergent in bedclothes

- some actual dust in your house (especially some remained from re-building a place)

- maybe even continuous exposure to some scented oil that triggered you finally this reaction

For the classical dust, maybe try even an organic product for killing dust mites (I saw one that is put in vacuum cleaner). For bigger dust (from construction) you have to vaccum several times, it will disappear gradually.

- recently whitewashed walls

D. If it's not an allergy, I don't know the answer, but maybe it's possible that some staph in your nose produce this or it even could be some side effect of some drug, this I don't know, check with your health care provider for those.

For relief with your nasal mucous membranes, try washing the nose with sea water and lubricate it with vitamine A in oil form. Hope I was able to help.

What is skin allergy?

An allergic response is the body's way of recognizing a harmful substance. Sometimes this mechanism becomes hypersensitive and reacts to things that are not harmful. That is what is most commonly referred to as an allergy. For example, some people are allergic to metals like the ones in jewelry and develop a green discoloration in their skin. This tends to happen to rings on some people's fingers.
