You can stop puppy mills by stop buying puppies and dogs at pet stores and adopt a dog in your local shelter or the pound. Thousands of dogs have to be put down at the shelters of over crowding. So adopt a dog at the shelter, and you will save lots of lives.

Unfortunately, in a fur trading company in Asia, there are places that slaughter dogs and cats for their fur, passing it off as rabbit fur, or just not labeling it at all. Its terrible, most of the time, the animals are breed and raised in mink farms, where they are kept and then murdered for there fur. They even keep animals that are not natural to that environment EX: Arctic foxes in 90 degree weather in California. I don't see how anyone could be so cruel, please don't support fur companies. Some people would consider horse riding animal abuse. First of all, some people could argue that horses should not be held captive for human use in the first place. Next, the weight of a person riding a horse is uncomfortable and unnatural for horses. Finally, when it comes to racing, many jockeys whip the horse to make them go faster, which certainly causes pain and discomfort. I honestly, don't think it is, but I don't use a whip and horses weigh hundreds of pounds. It wouldn't be uncomfortable to carry a 80 lb. person to a 600 lb. horse

A lot of animals need your help! A lot of animals are already happily cared for in their own homes, but yet many still need you. Besides, it'll make you feel good that you've done something. Remember: it's not only humans - cats and dogs and all the rest of the injured or lonely animals have feelings and feel pain, too.

I believe that animal cruelty is both wrong and inhumane. Animals feel just like humans do and its not accepted to skin a human alive so why should it be okay for humans to take rights away from animals.
