I was in the same boat, over a year ago now, and had serious bulimia. My parents were always really overprotective and worried about me a lot, but somehow never spotted the disorder. One day, when I was failing school, in a seriously bad binge pattern (i hadn't kept anything down for weeks), I sat them down and told them. And, to my complete surprise they were and still are amazingly helpful and supportive. They worried, sure, but they didn't suffocate me , didn't make me go to hospital but did take me for an appointment when I wanted it, helped me find a counsellor, and now trust me to look after myself completely. I know they'll remain supportive, despite the fact I'm not "cured" or perfect. Telling your parents is a hard thing to do, but try to have a little faith, they might just surprise you. Good luck!

If you plan to loose love handles and make them stay away anorexia is not the way, You can't quit when they are gone. Anorexia ends up turning you into skin and bones without hair, teeth, fertility and energy. Your butt will be gone so it will hurt to sit. If you have a decent employer they typically will be more than understanding. Telling your boss the exact problem may make he/she look at you in a different way but if your boss is cool and professional then you should let him no exactly what is going on. The company you work for might even let you get a leave of abscence and pay for treatment etc.. If your boss is kept in the dark and a problem should arise he/she might just suspect that your trying to get out of working and being lazy which is not the case.
