suzuki all the way!!! NO NO NO!!! I race them, i would go with Yamaha, they are good for utility, racing,and sport ATV's. I have had a yfz450 and a warrior 350. They both got me first place 7 or 8 times. Raptors aren't good, although they are fun. They flip REAL easy. But i think Yamaha is. They are reliable and perfact for every level. Suzuki are always tearing up and things of thet nature. They are fast, but the fun doesn't last long. Same with kawasaki. Honda is about as good as Yamaha they are reliable and pretty fast. They aren't the fastest but they are tough and trust me u flip one they are just as fine as before you wrecked it. But my opinion is Yamaha.

get a texas lisence plate and put it on your atv

Look on the rear frame vertical bar. theres a tag "suppost" to affixed to the frame (Mine starts with JAA and the final letter is "H". Hope this helps.

it depends on what size, model and year it is. if it's electric, it is usually on your left grip near your thumb with a sign that looks like an arch with arrows on both sides. there's another just like that with an x in between. that's your kill switch. if its manual start the kick start is generally on the right side of your engine case directly behind your leg. if its a 125 cubic centimeter cylinder, it will be easier to start. if its a 450 and your small, well, good luck.

cant find timing marks for an 83 suzuki lt125 atv motor

i have a 1999 having same prob. need info myself . everything checks out good with ststor even replaced regulator. still having same prob.

look for a sticker with model number and other such info, usually near the front of the machine on the frame.

The fastest stock, production atv is either the Yamaha 350 Banshee or the Suzuki Quadzilla but this is highly debated. Modified or custom atv's can go faster.

I use Honda 10w40 oil in our Polaris Sportsman 500. The only reason for the Honda oil is that I also own Honda motorcycles so I run the same oil in the bikes and the two quads. (We also have a Kawasaki ATV) Check the owner's manual for the specific grade of oil which should be used in your particular machine. The temperature range in which the machine is operated in is what determines the grade of oil to be used.

The lower the amperage, the deeper the charge, but also the longer it takes. Use the 2 amp if you have the time.

Remove the skid plate off the bottom of machine . Take a standard test light , hook the clip to a good ground and touch the probe to the post on the starter . Push the start button and the light should light . If the light works and lights but the starter doesnt work take a small hammer and tap the starter while holding the start button . If the starter workes then the brushes are shot on the starter and need replaced .If the light does not light on tester go to the battery and follow the leads to the starter solonoid . One side of the solonoid should light up without pushing start button , the other side will light up when the button is pushed.
