The aztecs build temples(also know as the aztecs pyramids) to whorship their gods. In these temples they would make human sacrifices. These sacrifices would be of royalty from surronding tribes or of people back in there time that they thought were beautiful. They would do this by taking out the persons heart. Most of the people that were sacrifice were male. Since they would need the women to reproduce children. Also if anyone didn't know the aztecs believe that their rules were their gods children. That is why they are also know as the "holy lords".
