Another option for information is to go to an abortion clinic. If you really could care less about his drug use and feel you two would be a responsible, mature, loving family forthe rest of your lives then go ahead and get married and have children. If I were you I would focus on helping his drug issue first then see about the rest later.

You can't know for sure until after the birth, but the odds are high that he will be able to tell, especially if he knows your boyfriend and can mentally compare facial features. It is certainly wiser for you to plan around that possibility than for it to be a big surprise for everyone...

I HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD THAT WILL BE THREE IN SEPTEMBER. SHE IS JUST STARTING MAKE THE RIGHT WHISTLING SOUNDS. IT MAY TAKE HER A TIME OR TWO, BUT SHE IS DEFINITELY ON HER WAY ANSWER it really depends on each individual child. none of my 5 children can whistle properly (aged 1 - 11) my 34 year old sister cannot whistle but my 2 yr old nephew can.... everyone is different :)

Well, it definitely depends on how old the kid is, and also, sometimes, the gender of the kid.

If you have a very young child, like, a real baby, then....well I've never babysat someone so young.

If you have, say, a 4 to 7 year old, bring coloring books, arts and craft supplies, and picture books. This is a good idea for girls especially, but boys like to color too! If your tot is more technologically interested, I can guarantee that he/she will be just fine with a video game and the computer... but maybe you can lure him/her out of their trance with your arts and crafts supplies, books, and/or coloring books?

Someone more mature, like an 8 to 11 year old (hopefully this is the oldest this gets), the gender especially matters here, in my opinion.

If your older child to babysit is a girl, bring fun movies, maybe microwavable popcorn, nail polish, and quiz books. She will love it! You can have a "girl's night." (assuming you're a girl, which is not always true).

If you're older child is a boy, bring... hmm, i'm, not sure what boys would like... I'm not one myself ;-). If you're a girl, they might just go off and do their own thing. If you're a boy and it's still light out, maybe play some ball outside? Assuming the weather is nice and the boy likes sports.

A girl 2-7 year old would like coloring books, story time, movies, baking (chocolate chip cookies is an easy and fun activity). A 2-7 year old boy likes coloring books, story time, movies, board games, cards (something easy, like War?), etc.

When you first come over, feed them dinner, clean up, get them in pajamas, use the supplies you brought listed above, and have a fun time! Babysitting is an easy and fun way to make money, and you'll be great! So good luck!

My now 12 yr old son went cross eyed when he was a baby and it was called Pediatric Strabismus. It is when the muscles in the eyes are weak and out of alignment. In my sons case, he had to see a specialist who chose to do surgery to reposition the muscles in the eyes. It was an outpatient surgery and the best choice that we could have made for our son. His eyes now are perfectly straight but due to the fact that the muscles are a bit weaker than normal he does have to wear glasses to keep one of his eyes from turning in slightly! Much better than the alternative of having the eyes crossed!

Incubator by itself does not help in the development of lungs. It is used to keep the baby warm as the premature baby cannot maintain body temperature. Lung maturation occurs naturally. Sometimes it may be necessary to give surfactant to prevent collapse of lungs.

Babies are born with about 20/400 vision. They do respond to patterns even though they are not clear.... so the general pattern of the human face (eyes, nose, mouth, oval shape) actually gets their attention more. Best vision is about 8 to 20 inches from the baby's eyes. They don't get much color discrimination for the first few months. If you are thinking they are smiling at you when you lean over them and makes those baby noises.... well, it's probably for a different reason altogether... :-) good
