Yes. This is a no brain-er and basic common sense. You or your parents can purchase a BB gun at almost any department store. No one is going to ask you or your parents for identification, or for a background check or even a gun safety course. But, here is the thing that you must understand, when you buy a BB gun it is a step you take in being responsible and towards being an adult. You must consider when using a BB gun that you are a minor and your parents are responsible for your actions. You don't go around shooting out windows or lights or at pets, etc. If I were your parent I would only allow you to shoot the BB gun as long as you did it safely and sensibly.

You should check with the Lockport Police. It will depend on the size of your back yard, and what is beyond it. If you will wind up shooting towards a neighbor's house that backs up to yours 50 feet away, probably not. You will need a target large enough to catch ALL the BBs, and one they don't bounce off.

Actually, the answer is, it depends on what state you are in. Most states do not classify BB guns as firearms, (in fact, I'm not sure if any state classifies them as firearms). Therefore, unless there is a specific state law saying a BB gun is illegal on school property, then it is not illegal.

I've never personally been in the Walmart in Stockton, but every Walmart that I've been in across the states carries at least Daisy's and Crosman.
