look under the driver side arm rest on the door - I could not find mine on a 98 Maxima for two weeks. Generally on driver side either on the door or on the floor by the seat controls. On my 95, it's a lever that you push down to open the gas cover and pull up to pop the trunk. On a 2000, it's on the door and you pull it out.

Sorry, the 1992 B'mers all have computer controlled ignition. There is no distributor. However, there are coils on top of each spark plug that serve the function of providing spark energy (which is what the single distributor used to do).

All electrical systems require voltage to operate, normally 11.5-12v, computers wont function properly below that.

Hold down odometer reset button, then turn key ahead to position 1 ( accesory position) hold it pressed for about 5 secs when oil service reset blinks then press button again and end sia should appear, press quickly one more time, then you are done.

There is no 225Ci. It is 325Ci. The C stands for coupe (a 2 door car), and the i stands for fuel injected.

740il as follows: 7 = 7 series, large sedan 40= 4.0 litres of engine displacement ( size of engine) i= fuel injection l= Long wheel base.

You may have a wheel balance problem, easily fixed at the tyre fitters who will check your wheels and re balance them, for a small charge.

It is on the passenger side of the engine, right on top of the exhaust manifold.

Check the belt tension. If that's okay, check for binding in the hoses. At this point, it has plenty of fluid, the belt is tight, and the hoses look good. Now jack up the front of the car, remembering to set the parking brake and chock the rear tires. Look at your suspension for a seized tie rod, ball joint, or a bent steering rack. No problems? Look at the front tire tread. Any unusual wear pattern? Have the front end aligned, and your problem should be solved.

manually: insert key, turn, lift boot. voila :)

open your trunk-to the right side of your trunk you will see a green pull release lever that opens your gas flap-pull and you are good to go

You must remove the strip across the dash to remove the side panel to access the CD changer...if you have used paper label CD's you may have glue ick all over your rollers...if it continues to run when you use the radio it will strip the gears of the changer and it's all over.

it is DOT 4 brake fluid which is filled through the master cylender for the brakes...it does not have a separate fluid tank.
