Can grenades embed in a body if fired from grenade launcher?
Well first of all the grenades shot in moderan day grenade launchers aren't really genades like infantry throw, they are more like mortors without fins. They don't really have a time delay or fuse to deturmine when they detinate either, grenades shot out of launchers generally explode on impact. HOWEVER....there is a kind of safety mechenism built into the grenade rounds to keep them from going off before being fired which requires them to rotate at a high enough speed for a certain amount of revilutions before arming...it generally takes about 15 feet for this to occure after launch. So...if someone was shot at nearly point blank range in under 15 feet or so from the shooter and assuming the grenade did not pass completely through them (which would be a fairly magical feat considerind how big a grenade is and how dense and bone fulled the human body is) it is possible for that to happen. The person would not blow up afterwards but that wouldn't really matter anyways as the tremendous trama delt to the persons body from the impact would kill them anyways. To put it in prespective a 12 gauge slug is probly about 1/8 to 1/10 the size of the standard 40mm grenade and you don't hear about anyone walking way for one of those. And if the person is beyond the arming range the genade Might penitrate an inch or two in the few miliseconds it take it to trigger but that's trivial as the person is just what we refer to a the pink mist at that stage. I hope this helped, I know I had fun( Marines always like to talk about things that go BOOM :)

Destroying explosives is extremely dangerous, and for this reason only licensed High Explosive Experts of bomb disposal units handle these situations. In many cases, small explosives or other suspicious devices will be blasted apart rather than disarmed. This reduces the risk to the personnel involved.
What happen when fisherman use explosives to catch fish?

This often illegal practice can be extremely destructive to the surrounding ecosystem, as the explosion often destroys the underlying habitat (such as coral reefs) that supports the fish.[1]The frequently improvised nature of the explosives used also means danger for the fishermen as well, with accidents and injuries.
Why do grenades explode when you pull the pin?
They DON'T explode when you pull the pin. There are three safeties on a grenade: the safety clip, the pin and the handle. The pin is the second safety you release.
When all three safeties have been released, there's a little plunger under the handle that ignites a delaying charge. When the charge burns down to the end of the fuze, it ignites a primer that causes the grenade's filler to explode.
Do EMP grenades exist in real life?
No, however you can have a machine to emit an electro magnetic pulse, but you can't use that technology in a grenade sized device

Do all hand grenades have lever and pin?
They all have at least two safeties. The pin is one, something like a lever or a sleeve eld down with the grenadier's thumb is the second, and some grenades have a clip to hold down the lever as the third.
Oh, I have to tell you this: Soviet-made fragmentation grenades came from the factory with the fuzes separate from the grenade bodies. NATO grenades have the fuze screwed into the body. Each box of 12 grenades came with 13 fuzes; the 13th fuze had a zero-second delay, and you could use it to make tripwire boobytraps.

What produces more heat a napalm bomb or a nuke bomb?
Nuclear weapons are much much hotter, their temperature is in the millions of Kelvins while chemical incendiaries like napalm are only in the thousands of Kelvins. Nuclear explosives are so hot the heat radiation can ignite structures miles away from the actual blast before the blast wave gets there, no chemical explosive can do this.
Are grenades the same as bombs?

Which metal isotopes are generally used in atom bombs and nuclear reactors?
Nuclear reactors usually use uranium. U-235 is the isotope that undergoes fission, but it is usually only about 5% of the initial uranium in the fuel, the rest is U-238 which is not fissile itself but during reactor operation some turns into plutonium which is fissile and starts to contribute to the fuel output as the U-235 gets depleted.
Atom bombs usually use plutonium-239 but can also be made from pure U-235.

What are the ingredients in plastic explosives?
Many very early plastic explosives used nitrocellulose for the plastic, however nitrocellulose is also explosive.
The early U.S. military RDX based plastic explosives (Composition A and Composition B) used wax instead of plastic resin. These were replaced with Composition C developed during World War 2 in conjunction with the British. Composition C was revised to Composition C-2 and finally Composition C-3 by late 1944. The final revision went into production as Composition C-4 in 1956, the users quickly shortened the name to just "C-4".
The ingredients of Composition C-4 are as follows:
Explosives that have a fire hazard and either a minor blast projection hazard?
Explosives that have no explosive hazard are not explosives. Materials that have a fire hazard but no explosive hazard are Class 2 if they are gasses, class 3 if they are liquids, and class 4 if they are solids.
