Open hood and look for a small silver wire with a loop on the end. The wire is located in the corner behind each side head light. Pull on the loop to remove the wire from the little tab it is hooked to. Go to the lens and pull straight forward. It may be stuck and hard to pull. There are 4 tabs the lens is pushed on. It will pull forward, but you might have to pry it a bit. There is nothing else securing the lens except the silver wire and the 4 tabs. When you replace the lens be sure to reattach the wire.

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Raise front of vehicle and support it it securely on jackstands. Remove dust covers if equipped.
3. From under vehicle, disconnect solenoid wire and battery cable from the terminals on the rear of the solenoid.
4. Remove starter motor bolts.
5. Remove starter motor. Note the location of spacer shims.
6. Installation is reverse of removal. Be sure to install the spacer shims in exactly the same location.
