To check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes stored in the computer, turn the ignition on, then hold down the OFF and WARMER (for digital dash) or OFF and passenger-WARMER buttons (for analog dash) or OFF and "Info ^" buttons (if you have temperature dials) until all of the dash lights come on. The digital display will then show any codes stored. Be prepared to write them down. When it's done, you will probably see "PCM?" at this point use the fan speed up button to select pcm now it should say "PCM CODES" press the fan speed down button to scroll down to "CLEAR PCM CODES" press the fan speed up button and it should say "PCM CODES CLEAR" now turn off the ignition and your good to go.
Where is the fuse panel on 1999 Cadillac Eldorado?
I have a 1996 Eldorado. I went to the library to get this same information. In mine, I have a fuse block set under the hood, on the left fender, along with a relay center, and a maxi fuse block. I also found a whole new set in the trunk, behind the rear seat. to get to this, I removed the upper carpet panel, which was part of the seat back panel. It is there you will find a black plastic case, that goes the entire width of the seat back, and just as tall. Remove the nuts holding it in place, and pull it down. In this case, you will find another fuse block, and a relay center, along with three different boxes, one of which is for the read sencing system.

What can cause throttle to remain open and engine revving while brakes on in 1985 Eldorado?
Most of the problems are the driver stays on gas when hitting brake peddle. They are at the correct height and I have done this many times. You must move foot straight over and not twist foot leaving heel in place. This sets you up to hit both at once. try it sometime.
Why is there no heat on the driver's side of a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue?
Sorry, I do not have an answer to your question, but I'm having the same issue with my 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Theheat is working on the passenger side, but blowing cold air on the drivers side. Go figure, I'm usually the only person in the car. Have you found out anything yet?
I dunno if this will help, but i had the exact same problem. i found out a "30a fuse" was missing for the air pump under my fuse box near the battery. i bought the fuse at autozone. When i plugged that in and started my heater again, it fixed it right up. I've also read rumors around the internet that if you leave the doors open and disconnect the negative the temp control will reset itself. (didn't work for me though and locked my radio).
Where are a 1997 Cadillac ElDorado spark plugs?
There should be 4 on each side of the block, follow the wires.... to change them you will need a socket with a long extension and a pair of needle nose pliers to gently remove the plug from the deep dark hole.... Make sure to only use GM wires and plugs or else they will not last... I was advised by a GM tech, of this problem. first though, remove the plastic cover on top of the engine, 4 nuts
when you look the trunk of a 1994 cadillac deville which fuse u fuse do you pull out for the anti theft system?
Your 1996 Oldsmobile cutless supreme is blowing out cold air when i have my heater on?
You could try checking or changing your thermostat and or check to see that there is in fact hot water from your radiator running into your engine and then through your car via 2 rad hoses located on your firewall in the engine compartment, 1 hose going to the heating system and the other hose returning from the heating system. The blower motor or heating systems in most cars have their own little radiator located most of the time just behind the blower motor inside your car. It receives hot water from the engine in order to blow out the hot air that we receive inside the car. If you don't have any hot air then check those things. Be sure to have enough water in your cooling system and that the thermostat is opening when the engine is warm for the hot water to begin circulating through your engine and through your heating system. NEVER OPEN THE RADIATER CAP WHEN THE ENGINE IS HOT! The hot water and pressure will spay out causing burns to your face and skin!
Have water in trunk of 2000 eldorado?
Most of the water comes in from pinhole breaks around the weatherstripping and in the sheetmetal or from the wheel wells.
Here's a cost effect solution. Remove the spare tire (check and grease your bolts and hold downs for the tire because the moisture can do a job on those nuts and bolts). Better to find out the hold downs are rusted close now than when you need to change your flat.
There should be a metal drain plug on the bottom, towards the passenger compartment. Carefully remove that plug by prying up on the center band and prying around the sides. Drill several 1/4"holes in the plug, put some gasket seal around the edge and put it back in. Now the water will drain through that. Yes you'll still have water coming in but it will quickly find it's way to the bottom and out it goes.
The alternative is to sit in the trunk with a flashlight while someone sprays the car. Locate the areas where it might be leaking around the top and caulk them with a heavy duty silicone caulk. Problem is there are so many places that water could be entering the trunk, it's a crapshoot. I've had several Cadillac's and I was amazed at the number of gaps and body holes (not rust or damage) that existed around the wheel wells and around the frame. This little trick solved all my problems.
Note: Don't be drilling any holes in the trunk from above. Your gas tank sits nice and snug against it. If there is no plug on your model, drill from below.

Heater blowing cold air in my E240 MERC 2003?
MB has a hot/cold air direction door , this may not be functioning . Possibly due a faulty switch, relay, fuse or actuator. This case scenario is a cause , not an effect of the result of a more probable, more serious coolant loss, head gasket issue.
Where is the fuel pump located on a 1983 Cadillac Eldorado?

The computers on most cars will reset themselves after a short period of time. The codes will then go into history mode. Until the computer performs another test on the systems, you will not see the code again. It does not mean the problem is not there. For instance I have a faulty EGR valve on my Eldorado. It didn't fix itself but every once and a while the computer will test the system and the code will come up current.
Certain situations may arise where a false positive may occur but I would let the code come up again before addressing the problem. Finally have your mechanic look at the car when the code is active (if possible) because that is the best time to assess the problem.
Some shops have a tough time chasing down the reason for codes in the history of the computer.
