there are 2 ways to do it. if you are lucky there is an easy way. remove the bottom cover on the dash and around the digital dash. disconnect 2 plus from the back of the switch (not fun). then using a very small flat head screwdriver, finagle it in on the bottom of the black switch panel. there is a clip on the bottom tha holds it in so pucshing it up allows it to come free. that is the easy way, which didn't work for me. i had to take out the whole side of the dash over there. now it works! just a warning....those switches are a little spendy. also check to make sure that your circuit in the fse box is ok. its a 20amp. also under the steering there are some relays which one is for the headlights. they are all the same. try switching them to see if you get your lights back. and those relays are way up there. hope this helps owner of 93 fleetwood brougham.....d-body

Yes, you can get them to fit and work. The bolt pattern must match, and that's a given. But you'll need low profile tires and there will be limits to the width of the tires you can use to make it work. Any good wheel and tire shop can tell you what will work and what won't. And they usually do it for free (in the hopes they can sell you someting). Call or, better yet, go by and look. They want to talk to you.

the lense has to be removed from the outside. there are several hex screws on the rim of the lens that can be easily removed gaining access to the bulb. It's a five minute job. Joe

It releases automatically when you shift out of park. If you have to do it manually under the parking brake is a silver handle that releases it.

Detach the negative terminal from your battery, detach the wires from the alternator, detach the drivebelt by loosening the pivot bolts and the adjusting screw for the alternator and then slipping it off. fully loosen the bolts and the others that are holding the alternator to the engine, they are fairly easy to find and then go to buy a new one. Wherever you go to purchase a new one BRING YOUR OLD ALTERNATOR WITH YOU. You will need to visually compare them to make certain they are EXACTLY THE SAME. the parts number should be printed on a label on your alternator, make CERTAIn that it is THE SAME as the number on your new alternator.

If the hose blew out while you were driving, and the car overheated, then you could have some serious engine problem. Cracked heads and or blown gaskets that may have cause coolant to inter the engine block. Check the dipstick or under the valve covers to see if it looks milky looking.

I also had a hard time finding the blower motor on my 1995 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham 4 door. In my case it was located under the dash clear to the right side on the passenger side (if you are sitting in the passenger seat it would be directly above your right foot). To be super carefull you should disconnect the battery first. Next remove the plastic cover under the entire dash (see photos provided below) I think it is a 9/32 to remove the cover. You can now see the blower motor, there are three 7-32nd hex head screws holding the blower motor in place, also unplug the power harness to the blower motor. It was easy to remove and re-install. In my case it was a loose wire, you might want to check that first. Be carefull, if you remove the blower motor and leave it plugged into the power it might start spinning in your hand if it is a loose wire problem. I spent so much time researching on the net the location of this 1995 Cadillac blower motor that I thought I could help someone else in the future if I took pictures of the whole procedure. If it has the 4100 motor, then the fuel pump is in the gas tank, be very careful when removing and installing, because if not properly ground, the fuel indicator and the engine will not operate correctly
