That's easy. Of course you can. But the trick is not a slim jim. It is a coat hanger. I locked my keys in my car once outside of my work place. So I took a coat hanger, brought it down towards the sliding lock mechanism itself, and then poked up and down until I figured out where the mechanism was. Then simply slide it to the left, try not push too much of the hanger in otherwise you won't have the necessary leverage and the hanger will bend.

Tough to say. Cadillacs typically have a dimmer switch located to the left of the steering column on the dash. A positive wire goes from the fuse box to the switch, then another wire goes from the switch up to the instrument cluster. You might try disconnecting the instrument cluster and see if the fuse still blows when you turn on the lights. If so, it might mean a wire is shorting to ground somewhere between the fuse and the instrument cluster. If not, it might mean there's a short somewhere in the instrument cluster assembly. Nothing much to do except follow wires and look for any fouling or damage that might be the cause. Also, miss-matched after market lights installed in the instrument panel might be pulling more amps than what was originally intended by OEM design. That could blow the fuse as well.

I know this one. The Interior Light Relay is located under the hood on the driver's side. It is called the INADVERT RELAY. If you remove the large black cover on the driver's side, under the hood, the fuses will be reveal. While standing on the driver's side of the hood, look closest to you, you will see another smaller black cover, it slides on the INADVERT RELAY. Slide off the cover, and you have the relay. Take the relay to your nearest parts dealer and get the correct one. If you get the wrong one, meaning it looks the same but is not exact, you may have trouble with your battery draining. The INADVERT RELAY controls interior lighting, and cigarette lighters throught the vehicle.

i have the same car and the tank holds about 12-13 gallons of gas. As for the MPG i think it is some where around 22 in the city and 29 on the highway, you can do the math ;p

If i am understanding your question coreectly you tighten them in a star pattern. if more then 5 lugs do the best you can!!!!!!!!!!!! This applies to all wheel lugs on any vehicle. keep in mind that one side will be reversed threads on an older vehicle such as yours. Don't try to bradk them loose turning them the wrong way or you will be replacing broken lugs!!!!!!!!!!!

The gas cap is under the rear license plate. If you have automatic door locks, make sure your doors are unlocked, or you will have in the trunk what looks like a door lock that slides, slide it to unlock your license plate. Then put the gas cap on the right side of the plate to hold it open and pump your gas. At least that is how it works on my 1984 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Coupe, that has power everything.
