Intergrated Cameras which are built into things and like phones and computers and have the lowest quality and flexibility.

There are also non-optical Cameras for different applications.

EM cameras like X-Ray, UV and infra-red cameras take different parts of the EM spectrum and shift them to the light spectrum. These have many different applications, from Bone imaging , to nightvision and space imaging. Lots of these are most useful when combined with emitter that send out a blast of the relative energy to see what it bounces off and then take the picture. (X-Rays and Infra-Red cameras do this for example)
