i know a glitch that gets you 150 rare candies in red and blue versions only. first, get a rare candy in the 8th item slot (i might be wrong, i havent used this in a while). next you need to be able to use fly and surf outside of battle. you also need them. after you have those done, talk to the old man in virdian city that tells you how to catch Pokemon. have him show you how, then fly to cinnibar island. walk over to the right side of the island and use surf. then surf up and down the right edge until you get into a fight. if the Pokemon doesnt look all funky and stuff, then you did it wrong. if it does, defeat it. DO NOT CATCH IT! if you do, the glitch fails. once you defeat it, you should have a wierd symbol where the
# of that item you have should be. if not, it should be where you should have put it. this works with ANY and i mean ANY item. remember, this ONLY works in RED AND BLUE VERSION!!!

I would say the Brazilian version is better but its subjective. They are the ones who make the 'original' bala brand.
However, I have found that its easier to buy the ODRA version which are equally tasty and to the untrained eye and tongue are identical.
Eitherway, you'll likely have to go through importers and don't be surprised if the smallest quantity you can buy is several hundred grams. I have though, twice on occassion found a mom and pop candy store selling the ODRA's in bulk. Today, I found a restaurant who sold me a 100g bag of ODRA.
