Oh, dude, like, technically speaking, boiling milk should kill off any harmful bacteria, but if your cat already took a sip, maybe just let them handle the milk situation. Like, it's probably not worth the risk of ending up in some weird cat-milk bacteria showdown. Just get some fresh milk and keep your cat out of it next time, man.

Why do cats scratch on a post?

Well, isn't that just a happy little question! Cats scratch on posts to help keep their claws healthy and strong. It's a natural behavior for them, like painting happy little trees is for me. Providing a scratching post for your feline friend can help them feel content and keep your furniture safe too. Just remember, there are no mistakes, only happy accidents!

What is the simple predicate of this sentence In the middle of the box huddled the smallest kitten in the litter.?

Oh, dude, cats shouldn't drink Horlicks. Like, it's not toxic or anything, but it's not really a part of their balanced diet. Stick to water or cat-friendly milk, and save the Horlicks for yourself. I mean, unless you want your cat to start demanding a bedtime story and tucking them in at night.

What does carol like if she likes felines but not cat's halibut but not flounder and palaces but not castles?

If Carol likes felines but not cat's halibut but not flounder, and palaces but not castles, she would like lions, since they are a type of feline. The halibut and flounder reference is a red herring meant to distract from the answer. Similarly, the mention of palaces and castles is meant to confuse, but the key is in focusing on the felines clue.

What does it mean when a girl sticks her tongue out at you?

Depends what way the person sticks it out. If they are doing it with a negative attitude, it means they are bragging, showing they dislike you, or are jealous of you. If they are doing it with a positive attitude, they are just joking with you. If a boy does it to you, he likes you and is teasing you, or he is one of your friends joking with you.

It means "Kiss me quickly before I change my mind."

How do you adjust your own spine?

Answer by Puhlaa:

When your muscles are relaxed your spine may "crack" (what doctors of chiropractic call "release") on its own when you bend, twist, etc. This is simply the release of gases from the joint space, and is no different than cracking knuckles, etc.

It should be noted that research has suggested that the "cracking" sound that comes from "cracking" a joint has no therpeutic benefit in itself. It seems that it is rather the high velocity and low amplitude stretch of proprioceptive musculature that surrounds the joint that induced the therapeutic effect. Thus, simply "cracking" your own back by twisting yourself or squeezing a friend will not result in the same benefits of a proper adjustment by a skilled professional such as a doctor of chiropractic, who have attended at least 8 years of post secondary education to perfect this technique.

  • Hmmm, this can be dangerous. The best idea is to be sure the muscles are fully relaxed. So, make sure you let stress go, take a hot massage shower and all that. If there is nothing wrong with your spine, sitting, standing and walking with good posture will align it. You can also try stretching your back. Never jerk into or use momentum to get into a streching position. Just stretch slowly. "Popping" your spine can damage it so be wary. If your spine is seriously out of alignment, such that you cannot get into a proper posture, or if you are in a lot of pain or frequently have spine issues you may want to see a doctor. The best way to avoid spine problems is to have good muscle tone in your back and abdomen and to sit, stand and walk with good posture and sleep on a good mattress at night. Hope this helps!
  • It is possible if you know what you are doing. It took over 3 years of chiropractic training to get to this level of mastery. That said it's a process. Koren Specific Technique is great place to begin if you want to work your way backwards!

Can you taser a feral cat without killing it?

Using a taser on a feral cat can cause serious injury or even death. It is not a recommended method for dealing with feral cats. It's best to contact local animal control or a rescue organization for assistance in safely trapping and relocating the cat.

What do you do if a cat doesn't chew the ambilical cord?

If a cat does not chew the umbilical cord, you can gently wipe away any birth fluids from the kitten's face and nose using a clean cloth. Then, you can use sterilized scissors to cut the umbilical cord about an inch from the kitten's body and tie it off with a clean thread to prevent bleeding. If you are unsure or uncomfortable doing this, it's best to seek assistance from a veterinarian.

Why does your cat keep twicting and licking himself?

How do you know if a cat is sad?

Signs that a cat may be sad include reduced appetite, increased hiding, decreased grooming, changes in sleeping patterns, or excessive vocalization. Monitoring their behavior and consulting with a veterinarian can help determine the underlying cause of their sadness.

Why do cats always wash them selfs?

It is a sign of affection. It is actually not very common for cats to trust each other enough to allow another cat into their personal space. Cats are not herd animals like dogs, and generally prefer living by themselves in a household. If your cats are grooming each other, congratulations, your cats love each other. Many times, if there is an age difference between the two cats, the older one will "mother" the younger one (even if the older is a male), and groom it as a protection tool. If they are the same age, it's more directly related to bonding. All in all, your cats have developed an affection for each other and are progressively getting along well.

What if your cat keeps gagging and coughing and nothing comes up?

A cat should always have access to grass. You can but trays of grass seeds at the pet shop. All you need do is water it for a few days and the grass will grow. Your cat will eat the grass which makes it sick and the hairball will come up easily. (My cat eats my spider plant but the out- come is the same.)

Another alternative is to buy anti hairball pills("Whiskas"). They are malt based and the cat should have about 10 a day. This doesn't make the cat sick but allows the hairball to pass through the intestines and comes out with the poo. Pills also available at pet shops.

There's also special dried cat food for "city cats" who probably can't get to grass or plants as easily as country cats. This cat food also stops hairballs forming. In Spain the brand is "Friskies"

Hope this is helpful - it's very distressing when your cat starts choking.

I'm not a vet but I have had several cats. Whenever one of them sounded as if they were gagging it meant that they had a furball and they were trying to cough it up. After they have coughed it up (this make take a few days before they finally succeed) you will find it, hopefully on the floor and not on the furniture.
