I was also in this situation and it doesn't always work out that way. Both people in the marriage have to be in love and committed to each other to make the marriage work. If that is not present, it is very difficult to make things work out and the children do not benefit either. Unhappy partners make unhappy children. It depends on the situation between the two people.

I once had a dream (quite a while ago) where my partner cheated on me with a girl I went to high school with - he has never met the girl so I knew that there couldn't be any truth in it as I had moved nearly 100 miles across the country since I went to high school!

Uhhh......well you shouldn't cheat on someone in the first place. If you don't like them enough to cheat on them, get out of the relationship. He will get over it on his own or he won't. You did it to him. You can't expect to fix him.

Well, considering they broke up 2-3 months ago and you are married, I could see why you would be suspicious, you know what they say... once a cheater always a cheater. you better have a complete investigation with evidence, I believe in "never believe nothing you here and only half of what you see" now if they were caught in "the act" that one is hard to deny. Of course he can talk to other girls. It's just the way and how he is talking to other girls that you should be worried about.

there are plenty. signs such as lack of attention negative attitude her intentions- weather its just for one thing or her way her expectations- her standards and her attitude towards it attitude- attitude towards you or herself values- what she values in life wich has alot to do with her morals, someone with no morals have no values or beliefs, point being that if she has none of the above then she has no goal in life, this can cause bad relationships and attitude towards life. this can also change perspective in life meaning outlooks such as within a relationship.

You will get over this person in time. Whether we are straight or gay the heart hurts the same. All of us at sometime in our lives has had to go through heartbreak, but we do survive. We can't ever use our kids because we are not happy. If you don't love your wife anymore and your in love with the other woman, you will do them a huge favor, let them go so that way, the respect and what ever love your kids have for you will not go away. You can start fresh with your mistress who you found love. Our big mistake are putting our children in the middle even though we not happy and miserable with our wife or husband. Divorce is not such a bad and sad life, it's a new fresh new start and you can avoid all the heartaches.
