I would suggest getting a pap smear. Call your Dr. office, or local free clinic. It's extrememly important to get one once a year. Tell them what you are experiencing. It could be something serious if not diagnosed early. Better safe than sorry! It could be a sign of an STD or it could also just be spotting in between periods.

You have the right to refuse any and all medical treatments. There is absolutely no law that says you have to do what your doctor says. Many women go through their entire pregnancy without stepping foot in a doctor's office, and have perfectly healthy babies.
