What is counter current multistage fluidized bed column?

Gas or liquid passed through bottom of the column and the solid particles from the top is fluidized below the maximum fluidization velocity with regeneration of continuos stage.

How do you change FCC to Bcc with nano technology?

To change a face-centered cubic (FCC) structure to a body-centered cubic (BCC) structure using nanotechnology, one can manipulate the material at the nanoscale through techniques such as epitaxial growth or phase transformation. This involves controlling temperature and pressure conditions to induce a transformation, often utilizing nanoscale catalysts or templates to guide the reorganization of atoms. Additionally, advanced methods like mechanical strain or irradiation can facilitate the transition by altering the atomic arrangement. These processes require precise control over synthesis conditions to achieve the desired crystal structure.

What is batch dryer?

A batch dryer is a type of industrial equipment used for drying bulk materials, such as grains, seeds, or biomass, in discrete batches rather than continuously. It operates by loading a specific volume of material into the drying chamber, where hot air or other drying mediums are circulated to remove moisture. Once the drying cycle is complete, the material is removed, and the next batch can be processed. This method is often used for its efficiency in achieving uniform moisture content and is common in agricultural and food processing industries.

What happens in a grit chamber?

in a grit chamber mixing of grit takes place.after grit mixing only organic matter remains

Front-end and back-end design?

People who do coding comes in Front end design and remaining comes in backend ..........

Front end includes rtl description,synthesiser,verilog/vhdl entity,simulator.....

Back end includes floorplanning,place & route,packaging,testing...

What is difference between throughput and flowrate?

Throughput andflowrate both express the quantity or a substance per unit time passed through a specific volume. There are two notable differences though. They are that flowrate is usually only used when referring to fluids and throughput is more suitable when considering the feedstock charged through process equipment not just conduit volumes.

What are the MERITS of plastics?

Plastics cost was very less . Plastic bags and plastic boxes are use for many useful for many things.

What is the construction and working of bubble cap tray column?

Bubble Cap Tray----www.rubbersealing.com

Bubble-Cap trays have numerous applications in refinery and gas plants, due to their effectiveness over a broad range of flow conditions and low susceptibility to fouling. T.C.I provides both standard and custom designs. We can supply not only standard materials such as 410, 304, and 316 Stainless steels, but also provide special materials such as Monel, Alloy 20, and Hastelloy in a variety of cap styles.

Bubble Cap Tray

Other trays:

Sieve Tray

is a perforated tray with typically 8% to 15% open area, normally using 12.7mm-diameter holes.

Chimney Tray

has risers and hats for vapor flow while collecting liquid for drawoff.

Bubble Cap Tray

has risers and fixed caps through which vapor flows and contacts the liquid on the tray.

Post-supported Tray

T.C.I is used in small diameter towers typically less than 760 mm where trays are assembled one at a time over posts, or in cartridge bundles.

Shed Rows

are contacting devices for very heavily fouling service such as coker or cat unit slurry zones.

Caged Valve Trays

T.C.I specializes in the manufacturing of all types of Reactor Trays. Regardless of the OEM, we can manufacture most kinds of trays in any type of metallurgy from Carbon Steel to Hastelloy B-3, without sacrificing reliability or quality. Along with our wide variety of tray replacement options,

Round Valves Trays

we also offer fast and reliable emergency tray replacement through our centrally located Dallas plant. Even if your replacement needs only call for a manway panel or downcomer piece

Rectangular Valve Trays

you can be certain that T.C.I will be there to get the job done. So when you need it now, we will provide you with the service and quality you expect.

What are the advantages of co-current flow?

A Counter-current flow has more advantages as comapared to a co-current flow.

Disadvantages of shell and tube heat exchanger?

it is difficult to remove the scales.

we cannot use scale forming fluid through the shell because if we pass, the scales are formed and it corrodes the shell.

Internal energy and enthalpy how differ and relate to each other?

Enthalpy mathematically is the sum of the internal energy and work done in a process.internal energy is the sum of the kinetic energy, potential energy, vibrational energies etc

Excitation-transfer theory by zillmann?

What is packing factor?

Packing factor is a dimensionless ratio that describes the amount of volume that a substance takes up in a particular volume. For example, if you have a box and you fill it with balls, the volume of the box is taken up by the balls and by the space in between the balls. The packing factor would be (volume of the balls)/(volume of the box). Packing factor is, among other things, relevant to the arrangement of atoms in different crystallographic structures.

Why meg is prefered in comparison to teg in dehydration?

Please have a look at the site below, it gives a very good explanation of the different uses of MEG and TEG. Some addition: Because the possible water content goes up in the order MEG<DEG<TEG, I'd expected TEG to have a better affinity for water, but it doesn't. The reason why TEG is used, is because it has a lower vapor pressure, so you will lose less in your process. Tetra EG would be better, but it's more viscous, so it would cost more to pump it around. You need to take into account more properties than only the hygroscopicity. Apparently, MEG is preferred for the low-temperature process with MEG injection, but it's not even cheaper! I'd say this satisfies my similar question for about 90%. http://www.jmcampbell.com/march-2007

What do you make at the cooling tower water treatment?

one main reason of treating cooling tower water is the presence of substances that can cause corrosion. what we do is eliminate the corrosive agents.

well corrsoion is one of the reasons,it may cause chocking, blocking in the pipes which then will restrict the flow and cause severe damage

What is the difference between bridge wall and bridge wall temperature in furnaces?

Bridge wall is wall between rows of tube. Usually in box heater.

Bridge wall temperatur in temperatur leaving radiant section after heating radiant tube before heating convection tube.
