Driver's side floorboard. Kickplate has 1 screw in it. Remove kickplate and remove the 4 screws attached to the molding that runs down the side of the seat. Pull molding towards backseat and the whole panel will come right off. The relay is under the kickplate attached to a wire harness. Push in small lever on relay and remove. Then plug new one in. Simple. I did one today. First time to do that but I learned where it is and how to change it.

My 84' camero ended up having a pin hole leak in the heater/ac core up under the dash . In San Diego over heating was a real problem!

Rerouting the heater hoses under the hood is a short term fix in warm weather climates/summer driving only.

Wouldn't recommend say.... driving the Sikyou's in northern Calf. into Oregon during a snow storm in late November 1988 heading to Seattle.

dude are you serious ... what year car what motor what supercharger you do realize you cant just slap a charger on it and call it a day right? there is alot of other stuff to go along with it that MUST be done so 400-1500 how deeps your wallet

Your low oil pressure light is coming on because you have low oil pressure. First, check and make sure you have oil. You turn off your engine. You clean off your dip stick. Then you put your dipstick back in and pull it out. It should have oil on it above the bottom mark. If it does not, put oil in your engine where it says, "oil" Otherwise, take it to a mechanic before you blow your engine and you are on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.

Check the 92 Camaro neutral safety switch next. If the switch is faulty then the starter will not get power to start the engine.

It will be best for you to buy a Haynes Manual at a parts house or bookstore. It will give you full details and pictures. They have them that are specific to your car so you are not buying information on something you do not need.

Same problem for me on standard 96 Camaro V6 automatic? What the? Looks to be about 3/8-1/2" too short to put tranny in 'park' and I don't see where any adjustment is located? Not a certified mechanic by any stretch, have about 30 years worth of working on my own cars, but this has me stumped?

It depends on which line is bad. There is more than one line. Once you have figured out which is bad, get a repair kit, from the local parts store. Dorman makes a lot of repair kits. You may also need to run some steel line so you will need a flaring tool and may require dropping the gas tank. These are high pressure lines, not like the old cars so they must be repaired properly. We do a lot of that type of work here. It is messy and time consuming. The lines snake around in a lot of inaccessible places and are not a lot of fun to do. It is very helpful to do it on a lift. I couldn't imagine trying this on the ground. While doing it, try not to disturb any other lines (Like the brake lines) if you have a rotted out fuel line the brake lines may not be far behind.

Take the light assy off and it screws in from te rear.

To expand on the cryptic and nearly useless advice above, try this. Remove the ONE 10mm bolt at the top rear center of the headlight assembly. DO NOT remove any of the metal bracket bolts or change any of the headlight adjusting screws. Slide entire headlight assembly towards the centerline of the car until the two positioning tabs at the bottom of the assembly line up with the slots in the headlight bracket. Pull the entire headlight assembly forward and angle the assembly to clear the fender at the outer edge. At this point, you can use a screw driver to release the wire sockets for high and low beams and completely remove the headlight assembly (easier access to the turn signal bulb) or just leave the wires connected and work around them (harder access to the turn signal bulb, but possible). The turn signal bulb socket is now accessable. Press in the locking tab and rotate the socket to remove it. Replace the bulb with a 3157LL bulb. (The factory bulb is a 3157K, the 3157LL is a "Long-Life" bulb, and considering what a pain it is to change, long-life is well worth the extra buck.

1. Jack up car and support on jack stands (or use ramps) 2. Remove three screws securing under-cover to air dam. 3. Grip the light bulb socket and twist while compressing the locking clip. 4. Pull bulb straight up out of the socket and replace.

I've just done our 2002 Camaro front left turn bulb after discovering this answer here - but it's even easier than the above I think...

The piece of plastic that fills in under the front of the car is held to the front fender, the wheel well liner and the air dam with a number of screws. There are also two splits in this cover immediately adjacent to 2 of these screws - if you remove just the two screws that are behind the air dam that connect the black plastic to the finder, you'll find that you now have a small door that will hinge downwards to let you get your arm in.

Of course I discovered this after I'd removed the whole thing.

I think with some cars, you have to enter in from the hood and go behind where the headlights are. Not sure if this helps, but it's worth a shot.

There is a small metal C clip on the front side of the knob. You can use a small flat head screwdriver to pry it off. Then twist and pull the knob right off. It takes some muscle.

No. You have to get a key cut with the correct value resistor in it. The new lock cylinder comes with a key with no chip.

I assume you mean lower the top and not "party down". If you want to lower the top on a 68 Camaro convertible you must sit in the drivers eat and reach up above you near the top of the windshield and grap the little handle. There is one handle on each side. Flip the handle from lying flat to sticking up. when both handles are flipped you should be able to push up the top and fold it backwards (on a manual top) or flip the switch and watch it go (on a power top) If you have a power top with a non working switch or motor, there is a chance that the top could be stuck in place and would require some muscle to move it.

why would you want too? go with a v8 5.7 tpi more power .yes you can. my husband just recently bought a camaro with a 3.4L engine.

you probably have a blown head gasket. Is there any water in your oil? It easiest to tell by checking engine oil cold. If you see white or gray colored stuff in your oil it is water and that means a blown head gasket.

jl8 diffs can be distinguished a few ways.....the easiest way is if the stock disc brake system is still attached. if not you can find the QX code on the housing of the differential

There is a hexagonal rod between the oil pump and distributor. As the distributor turns so does the oil pump. The newer DIS engines use a distributor plug that retains the drive gear for the oil pump rod.

No it won't fit. The 69 tanks has a metal hose built into the tank. Exits behind the license plate. 67 and 68 exit above the bumper on rear panel of the car. 69 Camaro and Firebird are all by themselves. One year only. I need one too!!! (69).
