The distributor turns clockwise.

Have a helper pump the brake pedal several times then hold it down. Loosen the bleeder valve at one wheel to let air and fluid out till the pedal reaches the floor. Close the valve and repeat until there is no air in the fluid. Do the same thing at each wheel, and keep adding fluid to the master cylinder along the way.

It should be 33 to 39 psi

That would depend where it was 1st sold,80 & 81 vettes equipped with a 350 (5.7L) had 190 hp,but if they were sold in california only came with a 305 (5.0) making far less.

The trick is the bolt at the bottom of the panel that must be removed. You can see the head by looking in the crease at the bottom of the panel. Just loosen the bolt head (10 mm open end wrench)...do not remove...panel will slip out. Let me know if you need any more info. George

On the rear Rod and's, in your 1988 Chevrolet Corvette, are located on the axles. A complete diagram of the grease fittings can be obtained from most auto-parts stores.

Classic problem with the speed resistor! On the air transfer line near the motor you will see four wires on a plug. The resistor is on the other side of that plug. The plug will age and burn or the resistor is burnt. This leaves you with ONLY the high speed setting. The fix is cheap thankfully!

The 1969 Chevrolet Corvette was offered with P205/75/15 tires. These wheel can have a larger fitment of 225/75/15 on the same wheel. Kumho still makes tires in the 205 size, and if you are looking for originality restoration companies may offer replications of the factory style radials. Changing the wheel size in this application will offer better handling from modern performance tire sizes, as well as much better purchasing options.

They all pretty much all had virtually the same frame from 1967 through 1982. Slight differences, of course, but if you're down to replacing the frame you'll be able to spot them and compensate.

Probabaly either 285, or 300. The high performance 327 was dead in 68, as they had turned their attention to the 350 by then.
