Runs continually as long as the engine is running.

Turn headlights on and raise the hood. If they won't raise, use the thumb screw on the motor to manually raise the headlight.

Disconnect the negative battery cable and the headlight motor harness cable at the connector mounted on the fender in the engine compartment.

Remove the black bezel, 3- Philips screws

Look under the headlight and locate the screws that mount the entire assembly to the frame closest to the radiator (3- 13mm) bolts and the (3- 10mm) bolts straight ahead toward the windshield.

Once you remove all the bolts referenced above, the entire assembly should slide forward about an inch and lift out of the car. Do this carefully to avoid scratching the paint. Try using tape around the opening to avoid chipping by accidental contact.

Disconnect the harness from the headlight bulbs (gray and black)

Make a drawing or take a picture of the linkage that is connected to the motor shaft. Take note of the relationship to the white bumpers. Marking the position is recommended before disconnecting the linkage.

Remove the 10mm bolt connecting the linkage to the motor shaft.

Finally remove the (3-10mm)bolts holding the motor to the assembly frame.

Follow the instructions in the rebuild kit or replace the motor and reverse these procedures to install. Best of luck courtesy of NCOA member

I believe like all C4's, look on the option code sticker on the inside of the center console door. It will be a 2 digit number followed by the letter "U" near the end of the list of option codes. For example, 10U is white. If you don't have the sticker, GM can give you the list of options based on the VIN.

Begin by removing the wiring harness from your 1996 Chevy Corvette horn. Remove the horn retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new horn.

There is about an 8" tube shoved into a hole in the block on the driver's side between 5 & 7. The dipstick fits into the tube.

Could be a number of reasons...I would begin by replacing your plugs and wires if it does not misfire at idle, then that usually means you have a cracked plug, or faulty wire.

Quick answer would be yes. Then all the lawyer fine print...mounting should be ok, just be sure small block to small block...and be sure if AT to AT, then also should be ok (i've heard of folks leaving the pressure plate on, then trying to bolt up AT) Careful of the computer now, if you're using a different type transmission, the computer may be confused...be sure you have the same type, and the connectors are similar, 4 plug or 5 plug, round or square, etc.

No, but the contacts in your ignition key and in the lockcylinder can become so warn that they do not make contact anymore.

The 2005 Chevrolet Corvette has a drag coefficient of .28 Cd.

On my '88 vette it's on the rear of the engine near the distributor cap driver side of engine. It has 2 wires out of the top.

It was America's first sports car and Chevrolet brought out the Corvette in 1953.

It would be a dashbaord that displays the speed, temp, etc in digital numbers. It would not have analog gauges.

about $52,000 apparently. i thought it would be more expensive. soz if the money isn't ur language. if not use a Australian or American converter
