Couldn't get an answer for my 2005, but I did find and replaced the sensor myself. It was next to the oil filter. The only reasonable way to get to it was removing the passenger side front wheel. It was fairly easy after that. I think the guys who have been changing my oil were getting the sensor wet with oil and it started having problems. I have the 3.8 liter V6, but I think the 3.4 would be the same. A good place to start at any rate, would be near the oil filter.

Not without a TON of modification. The 3.8 is a 90 degree V6 while the 3.4 is a 60 degree. Not to mention the computer and wiring won't be correct either. By the time you are done with the modification you don't even gain that much.......the 3.8 is quite a bit heavier than the 3.4.

There are a few ways you can go about it...Since the skinnys are out now(very thin tires) you can get a set of those that's honestly the best way to go without messing anything up plus if you have a car payment on the car doin any modifications can void out a warranty...but if you really want to do it you can go with lift cups and air shocks...like i said you have to do your research and what not....check this site out you will find everything you need.... eastcoastryders/kingofthestreets.com

You can try going to http://universalcarlifts.com/ and check out some lift kits and they should have one for your car but yo should still get skinny because your wheels wouldn't look right with 30 or 35 series tires. but you do have to be careful not to break your rims because skinnys don't give your rims better protection than 30 or 35 series tires so be very careful for potholes, railroad track, and speed bumps on highways. but you can go to http://custom-wheels-car-rims.phatkars.com/ if you are trying to find some nice looking 24's. well that's all i can give you

Some old-timers will say you can, but you really cannot. There are a couple of reasons. First, 114.3mm is not the same as 115mm. Even if the center bore on the 5-114.3 wheel is the same or larger than the hub on the car and you can get the wheel on the studs with a flush mount, the small 0.7mm difference is enough to unduly stress the studs, This strain is enough to eventually crack and break them and potentially cause a wheel-off and possibly an accident. Second, even though you can get the wheel on the car, you will never be able to really center the wheel on the hub--as soon as you tighten one lug, it will pull the wheel out of centricity with the hub; you will never get it centered, so you will always have a vibration.

You must raise the hood, un-clip the windshield washer hoses on the passenger side, remove 3-4 black plastic screws, and remove the plastic cowl cover from the passenger side. take the fuel lines off of the pump and take the 2 bolts out that hold it on and pull it off, to reinstall there is a pushrod inside the engine that rides on the pump arm, you have to push the rod back up out of the way and quickly insert the pump in place and reinstall the 2 bolts and then hook up your fuel lines to the pump and your done.

In the electrical fuse/relay box under the hood on top of the L/F fender well.

If it is the same as my 2001 - look at both ends of the dash (open doors for access) it has 2 internal and 2 distribution blocks under the hood

The Impala, as well as other GM models, have a passive theft deterrent called 'Passlock' which will prevent your car from starting if there was an attempted theft or other unauthorized entry into the ignition. However, this same system is prone to randomly and sometimes frequently engage itself even when the car is being used properly.

Solutions: 1) If the car will not start or "crank", turn you key in the ignition to the 'on' position and leave it there for a minimum 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, turn the key to the 'off' position for two minutes. Now attempt to start the car. This is a built-in feature of the Passlock system to override the security lock. 2) If this does not work, you may need to have the car taken to a dealer (a regular mechanic will not be able to guarantee a fix). They will check for a diagnostic code, and if one is present which relates to this system, they will advise that you replace the BCM (Body Control Module), ignition cylinder, and the ignition switch. This will be around $800 depending upon your dealer and where you are located. Unfortunately, unless you systematically isolate each component, you may not know which part is actually causing the problem. However, the most likely culprit is a faulty ignition cylinder or a bad BCM. The BCM's are known to be "buggy".

GM is well aware of this problem, but they will not issue a recall.

Get the kit from the dealer: Part #17113515 What is the function of the PVC valve ? Does it control or block out NOx vapors which pass through the exhaust system and affect the tests results of the auto Emissions Inspection program? it's the MAP sensor the pcv's function is to clear crankcase vapors that blow by the piston rings HC not NOx. the EGR recirculates exhaust gases to cool combustion chamber temps and reduce NOx emissions.

1. Buy the correct-fit replacements. Correct replacement windshield wiper blades are not only correct length, but also correct attachment. Never just buy by length only. Always lookup your vehicle in an application guide at the store or now-a-days you can 'lookup wiper size' online. The key to an easy install is correct size/correct part numbers.

2. The new replacement wipers will have step-by-step, illustrated instructions. Take your new wiper blades and instructions out to your vehicle and physically get the old and new wipers in your hands and take a look. The instructions will make 100% sense once you're looking and touching them.

3. Most wiper replacements do not require tools and take approximately 2-15 minutes.

take the lower radiator shield off under the passenger side below the lower radiator hose should be where the plug is and u can take it out with a flat head screw driver

either a fuse is blown, the switch is bad, or the moter itself is buned up. start by checking all your fuses and test the switch to see if it is getting fire. test to see if your getting fire to the motor. last thing to do is replace foan motor. Resistor pack can also be bad. Answer It could also just be a bad ground. Have seen this before. Loosten a mounting screw on the blower housing, under hood on firewall. Run a wire from Neg side of barrery and wrap bare end around the screw. Reinstall mounting screw, see if it works.
