Oatcake for Breakfast and Lunch, for Dinner the Children were served Potato Pies with Boiled Bacon. These were some of the meals the children would have received. They were promised Roast and lovely Vegetables each day, with Plum Pudding for Dessert. Unfortunately this wasn't the case and the children had eaten the food they least expected to have.

There is child slavery around the world today. Mainly in third world countries and in some nations in Southeast Asia. It is possible that in the United States and the UK that there could be some children who are sex slaves unknown to authorities.

Two new labor laws that were implemented within the last ten years were minimum wage and child labor laws. Recently, child labor laws were made more strict regarding farm work. Also, the minimum wage was raised.

no its not! Norway has some rules that says that people under 18 years old are not allowed to work overtime. And besides that you can only work about 50hours every week if you are under 18 years old.

The State of Illinois Child Labor Law reads:

Child Labor Law Regulates the employment of workers under 16 years of age. The law protects children by (1) requiring employment certificates. The certificate confirms that a minor is old enough to work, physically capable to perform the job, and that the job will not interfere with the minor's education; (2) prohibiting work in hazardous occupations; and (3) limiting working hours. All work before 7 AM. and after 7 PM. is prohibited. However, work until 9 PM. is allowed from June 1 through Labor Day.

It is mainly their decision, but the work will be good for them. They can get extra pocket money, and they will understand the importance of money, and save up for rainy days. Their bond with their family will be closer.

Also that they dont harass their parents for money or anything else because they can use their own money.
