If you have the steering wheel turned at an angle it could cause the locking rod to the transmission to jam or stick. Try wiggling the steering wheel back and forth a little.

Headlights fail in the Pacifica due a inherent design flaw in the Power Distribution Box ( black box behind the battery under the hood which also is the fuse box). The problem is the left and right headlight is powered by the box, which cannot handle the load the factory lights put on the system. A new box is approx. $330 from Chrysler which has to programed to your Vin # for the functions and options your car came equipped with. I tried a new box, it worked for a short while only to go bad again. I ended up locating the wire coming out of the box that provides power to either headlight (known as the trigger lead) and created a separate power supply to turn on my lights and switched over to HID lights (kits are available on EBay and easy to install) with the actual power to run the lights from the battery (as well as the ground) and that power being turned on/off by a 12v power auto relay from The Shack, and the trigger lead from the box ( which is 12v but to weak to light the bulb will power the relay because it is a very low power switch). The lights are still turned on/off but the light switch on the steering column, just a more dependable power supply. Don't forget to add a 10amp in-line fuse to protect your electrical system.

I have a 2005 Pacifica, and mine does this too. I suppose it's some sort of wind tunnel effect. If I want to put the back windows down, even just 1 of them, I have to crack all 4 windows just a tiny bit to prevent that god awful noise. It will even hurt my ears it's so loud. It sounds like a train is inside your car. Just make sure you crack all your windows a tiny bit, and it won't do it.

My situation PLUS the driver door key lock entry is broken, and there is no other key entry option on the car, the hood is closed and all doors and back hatch are locked.

You need to call a locksmith to open one of the doors.

I have Pacifica 2005. Had problem with immobilizer. Took time for shop to figure out that it is PCU (computer) fails to read immobilizer signal. There wasn't a 2015 Chrysler Pacifica. In 2015 there was a Chrysler Town and Country. It's spare , if equipped, is located under the van below the front row seats. Most did not come with a spare tire.

Man, don't listen to the previous user's answer, Pacifica's are still produced, I own a 08 Pacifica touring package with the 4.0 v6 and I actually saw a add for the 2019 model , Pacifica's remained crossover SUV's until around 2010 or 2011 I think.
