No, the cold war had nothing to do with the collapse, there are 2 main reasons. Starting in the 1980s, their neighbors decided to put trade sanctions on the soviets because of invasion threats.
Also, they've decided to become more democratic since the end of the WWII, they eventually ended Stalin's totalitarian regime so it became almost a total democracy. Because they were still communist, nobody wanted to work so they just lost all their money.
Why was Stalin surprised when Hitler's army invaded the Soviet Union?
The main reason soviet union was caught by surprise was because the soviets had signed a pact of none aggression with the Nazis in the years prior to the war because of the allies leniency with Hitler and he was afraid that Hitler would attack so they signed a pact and they thought Hitler would honour it because it helped Hitler as well as when war was to start Hitler wouldn't have to fight a war on two fronts. Another reason they were caught off guard was after the purges in the 30's. This were Stalin killed any one that was a threat to him. This meant he killed three of five marshals (then equivalent to six star generals), 13 of 15 army commanders (then equivalent to four and five star generals), eight of nine admirals (the purge fell heavily on the Navy, who were suspected of exploiting their opportunities for foreign contacts), 50 of 57 army corps commanders, 154 out of 186 division commanders, 16 of 16 army commissars, and 25 of 28 army corps commissars.

Who provided economic Aid to Greece and Turkey?
I think you mean the 'Truman Doctrine' ie a speech delivered by President Truman to Congress on March 12 1947 in which Truman pledged the United States to help any nation under threat from subjugation. It was in response to the British informing the Americans that they could no longer support the Greek forces in their civil war against Greek communists. The United States had the choice to abandon that country to its own devices or try and help the Greek Royalist forces with financial aid. Ultimately Truman convinced Congress to help the Greeks. Turkey was included due its proximity to the Soviet Union and the fears that the USSR wanted to overthrow the Turkish government and replace it with a communist one. However Turkey was not experiencing a civil war. Some Americans felt that if Turkey went communist, Greece would too and this would threaten the whole mediterranean area. It was an earlier version of the Domino Theory. The end result was that both Turkey and Greece remained Communist free, though neither were in particularly huge danger. Stalin was not helping Greek communists because he knew the USA would never let them win in Greece and whilst he had demanded access to the Black Sea Straits from Turkey that issue had been solved in 1946.
