Why does usb go bad after about 6 meters?
Energy is required to move data across a wire. The longer the cable, the more resistance is encountered by the energy used to move the data. The low voltage of a usb port is progressively lost as it travels down the wire until there isn't enough to carry the signal.
Is a USB stick an input or an output device?
Both
Information on it can be input into computer,
or output onto stick. Example:
If I have something on my computer, my friend gives me their stick and
I output information onto it, then later my friend input that information
onto their computer.
How do you make a quiz public on kahoot?
To make a quiz public on Kahoot, first log in to your Kahoot account and navigate to the quiz you want to share. Click on the "Edit" button for the quiz, then look for the option to adjust the visibility settings. Change the visibility from "Private" to "Public" and save your changes. Once set to public, others will be able to find and play your quiz.
How Multiplexer can be used as parallel to serial converter?
It can, but a parallel loadable shift register is a more efficient way to do it and is much more common.
Is it harmful to my pc if I shut it down first then pulling the power cord?
It's potentially harmful. Although the PC is powered down, the cord is still live as is the power supply unit (PSU) attached to it. Removing a live cord could cause an arc or power surge that may be harmful to the PSU and/or the computer itself. Most PCs have a rocker switch on the rear of the PSU (near where the cord is attached). This should be switched off once all disk activity has ceased and the power LED has gone out. You should also isolate from the mains supply before removing the cord, although it's good to allow a second or two for any residual charge to fully drain to earth. Reconnecting the cord is the reverse procedure: connect the cord to the PSU and to the mains (both of which should be off). Switch on at the mains, then turn on the PSU with the rocker switch and finally power up the computer itself.
Note that a PC often have several power states. Hibernation mode is similar to shutdown except the contents of memory are copied to a mass storage device which may take a little longer than a normal shutdown. Other than that they are both the same and the computer can be isolated from the mains once hibernation is complete. Restarting from hibernation should be quicker since the majority of the boot process can be completely bypassed. Standby mode is where the computer shuts down unused components to or conserves power by entering a low-power state, but never completely shuts down (there may be several states depending on which components are powered down and which are in a low-power mode). Do not isolate the computer from the mains whilst in standby mode as the CPU is still active and there may be occasional writes to the hard-drive by programs running in the background.
Why is it important to know the weight of the cooler when comparing a coolers?
I don't think there is any reason you should be looking for weight of a cooler. The coolers are not made too heavy or too light. They are perfect for your computer. The only reason to look for the weight of the cooler can be the delivery charges if you are looking forward to ship it from a very far distance.
Why 1000 KB is not equal to 1MB?
this is because of your processor, it works with binary digits which can only have results like the numbers below:
1 2 4 8 16 32 64 128 256 512 1024
in binary the number 20 would be for example
001010000
Another answer could be,
1MB is equal to 1024KB, a different amount of KB. I learnt this a few minutes or seconds ago.
An HLDS (High-Level Data Storage) device refers to equipment designed for the efficient storage, retrieval, and management of large volumes of data. These devices often include features for high-speed access, redundancy, and data integrity, making them suitable for enterprise-level applications. Common examples include storage area networks (SANs) and advanced hard disk drives (HDDs) used in data centers.
How do you disassemble gateway e 4000?
First of all: If you don't know what you are doing, be very careful about taking things apart. Note which parts have come from where, especially power cable. When taking a computer apart, make sure you know what your aim is, and only take out the parts necessary. For example if you are replacing a fan, only remove the fan and any parts that are in the way of removing the fan. To take apart any computer the first thing to do is remove the covers, usually held on at the back with 4 screws. Once removed you will be able to slide of the side panels and see all the components. At this stage I would recommend anyone who is confused by what they are looking at to stop and do some research on the components that make up a computer. Remove the parts that you need to, noting directions of clips, where cables are connected etc. Remember always remove static from your body by touching something that is earthed. You might be lucky the first few times, but when you screw up a $200 component, you will wish you had bothered earthing. Take care and play safe
Hold down the keys option, command, and escape. This will open the force quit menu, showing a list of current open applications. The application causing the problem will have the red text "not responding" next to it. Select this application, then click force quit. If there aren't any applications that say "not responding," click on Finder and click relaunch.

How does PCIe Version 2 compare to Version 1?
PCIe version 2 doubled the fequency of the PCIe bus, theoretically doubling the throughput, It also allows for up to 32 lanes on one slot
There is a specific kind of bag that is used to store components, but you should not need one unless you are in an extremely static-prone area. Here is a link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antistatic_bag
Can you trick the computer into thinking C drive is A drive?
The A and B drives had special designations. Even though modern PCs don't have them any more, the letters are still not used. You can do things like insert a Zip drive into your machine and use that as a B drive. It may be possible to reassign the C drive in a similar way, but there is no reason why you would do that. The C drive should be left as your C drive.
