A server monitor is any type of software installations that monitors the status of your server, the hardware found within, its ability to communicate with other devices, as well as the status of any software on it. It's a very mature market, with products ranging from freeware Nagios, to a mid-range all-in-one solution like NetCrunch and PRTG, up to enterprise players like ManageEngine and Solarwinds.

his depends on what type of monitor you are using. If it is a CRT (the big long old one) or a LCD (newer flat screen). If it is a CRT, then the monitor is going bad, and you need to replace it. If it is an LCD, then it is probably just a color setting.

If nothing happens when you press the power button, make sure all the wires are connected. make sure that both the computer and the monitor are plugged into a power source. Also, make sure that the monitor is connected to the computer. If it still does not turn on, you might be having a problem with one of the components in your computer. At this point I would take it to a specialist and have them figure out what the problem might be.

The 2 codes that I used and worked for Direct TV was "10178 and 10179" they worked great for me and I hope they work for you :)

VGA is ("Video Graphics Array/adapter") the term for a video card or other video adapter (such as an integrated one). AGP is a standard for video card expansion slots. P is the number of pixels in the video quality. It goes from 144p,240p,360p,480p,600p,720p,1080p,4000p, and maybe more by now. I have not seen very many videos that have 600p though. I don't know anymore on how to answer this question. :P

Burn-in is the reason computer screensavers were invented. Burn-in happens when an image is displayed too long on a screen. This only happens with traditional CRT "tube" televisions and monitors and plasma TVs and monitors. It has been an especially big problem with rear-projection TVs. On these TVs and monitors, the tubes beam electrons onto the back of a phosphor-coated screen. If the images don't move for an extended period of time they can become permanently etched on the screen. FYI rear projection TVs now use light passing through an LCD. Burn in isn't nearly as big an issue with modern rear projection and LCD projection screens as it was with the older ones. It's also not nearly as big an issue as with plasma and LCD TVs, which have some pretty intense burn ins. The biggest problem you have to worry about with LCDs is dead pixels. Pixels die and just turn black, or sometimes white. The biggest problem with Plasmas is the fact that the actual plasma in the TV weakens over time and the brightness of the screen is drastically reduced over time. We have three at work that we bought about a year ago and they've lost approximagely 25-35% of their brightness already. LCD projection TVs have LCDs in them, so they can suffer from pixel death as well. Rear projection TVs without LCD projection can have their R, G, and B guns burn out - but those guns can be replaced (although it's sometimes expensive).

They're called - pixels. The word pixel is a contraction of the phrase 'picture element'.

Simply put, as you put more and more information onto your computer it takes up space on your hard drive. So when it says for example that you have 40gb space free, then this is how much more information you can put onto your disc before it is full.

The only way a person can see what information a computer has is through output devices E.G monitors, speakers and many others. We can only give information to a computer through the means of input devices like, mice, keyboards, touch screens and whatever the computer interface is designed to accept.
