The code p1780 indicated a fault in the park/neutral position switch. It has either failed or is out of adjustment.

#3 is third cylinder from the pulley end of engine.

This is a 3 step sequance and needs an "Angular Torque Gauge"

18 Lb-Ft + 70 derees + 30 degrees.

These torque specs came straight from the felpro torque table guide step 1 18 ft lbs step 2 turn all bolts 70 degrees step 3 turn all bolts 70 degrees again step 4 turn all bolts and extra 30 degrees

It has to be done by a Daewoo service center because the Scan Tool 100 is necessary. It is like a regular automotive scan tool, but dedicated for Daewoo vehicles. First the tool is attached to the ODB II connector in the car, then it is set to "program mode" and any of the buttons on the remote is pressed so that the computer in the car registers the code. This is done for each remote, one at a time. I think that the computer on the vehicle can register 4 or 5 different remotes.

Most cars and trucks today have what is called a serpentine belt which runs most accessories.They are very dependable and usually easy to replace. To decide if your belt needs replacing, simply look at the grooved side of the belt to see if it is cracking badly. A couple of cracks every 3 inches is normal, but if you see cracks every 1-2 inches I would recommend that you replace it. On most cars and trucks the procedure is basically the same. First off, get the correct belt by bringing your cars VIN number to the parts store(located on your cars dashboard) the parts store may need it. If there are two choices, get them both so you can complete the repair. Once you have the correct belt, take a minute to review how the belt runs across the pulleys and also check to see if your car/ truck has a underhood diagram of belt routing in case you need it. In most cases you will need a socket wrench or breaker bar with either a 3/8" and /or 1/2" head on it and possibly a short extension. Some models may require a wrench of these similar sizes.Now that you are ready to go to work, you will need to find the spring loaded tensioner which is generally located near the top of the belt path; it usually has a shinny pulley on it. Look at the tensioner and insert the tool into it and apply opposing pressure to release the belt.Now, simply install the new belt making sure it fits into the grooves on all the pulleys. Start the car to check it and you are done and you saved yourelf some money!

Odds are the battery voltage is low. The alternator could be faulty or the belt could be loose or broken.

Remove the water from the cooling system. Remove the water hose from the heater core. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new heater core.

ON a 1999 Daewoo Leganza the thermostat is located on the upper radiatior hose. Unlike most cars this car has a thermostat that is integrated into the housing. You must purchase the housing with the thermostat built in. It is removed by removing the 2 female torx screws that hold the unit in place. The thermostat is expensive. Some dealers or auto parts want an avg of 125 for that thermostat so please make sure that is the problem before you purchase it. You can sometimes get lucky and find someone posting the unit on e bay.

its under the dash mounted near the brake pedal,its either a push-pull switch or a plunger. the power relay is in the main relay bank under the hood and there is a separate fuse in there as well. The relay map is underside of the relay bank cover

This either means that your emergency brake (hand brake) is on, the light switch needs to be fixed, OR (most common) you need to add more brake fluid. Always check your brake fluid first!

there are various methods,

1)- remove battery connection for 20 mins and reconnect -it might go ( remove overnight if it didnot go)

2)-go to autozone and ask then to check -they have a instrument that can tell you what the fault is,but they donot reset that code, so light still stays. but find some onewith that instrument or buy one for 50$ and reset and the light goes off
