The Starter is not easy to change. First thing " Disconnect the battery". The starter is under the intake manifold and bolts into the transmission. You need to remove the intake and all related hoses and plastic parts as well as the hard plastic cooling pipe that basically sits above the starter. There are 2 bolts that hold it in and one is easy to get at and the other is a bit more difficult.

How do you remove the spark plug cover on a 2002 Daewoo Leganza to replace the spark plugs?
If you have the 2.2 liter engine, there are two (2) bolts that hold the cover on the top of the engine. These bolts will require a hex head (Allen wrench) to remove and tighten. Remove these bolts, lift the plastic cover up, and you will see the four spark plug wires leading to each spark plug. Twist and then pull straight up (you may have a plastic hook on each wire) to remove the wire. Then you can use a 5/8" spark plug wrench with a long (6") extension to remove and replace each spark plug.

Does the engine turn over? If you are getting crank but not catching, it could be the emergency fuel shut off switch. It's located on the passenger side front. When you open the front passenger door look down in the well next to the seat. it's a little black rubber fob. Try pushing that and then try starting it. Hopefully it's that simple. Whoever wrote this answer is an idiot. I have a Daewoo Leganza and it is way past 100k miles..
Its got 155,000 miles on it, and all I had to do was change the timing belt (at 55,000 miles, the recommended time).
It still runs perfectly, the only thing wrong with them is the brake switch behind the pedal might need to be replaced and the tappet cover leaks until you put some sealant around it.
