Generally you would put the trim on after the tile is done. Especially if you are laying ceramic tile and need a mud base or cement board. If the room connects to another without tile, I would do the trim first. For example, the kitchen has tile and it flows directly to the dining room that has wood down and won't be replaced. If you put the trim down after the tile, the trim in the kitchen will be at least 3/4" taller then the dining room. This is only an issue when you have a really open floor plan.

Hang it up the next day using magnets, just in case your school doesnt allow tape. :] Then, cut the back pocket of and old pair of jeans and decorate it with buttons, ribbon, etc. Then put a self-adheiseve magnet on the back and hang it up. Put pencils and scissors in it and extra things you might keep in your locker. Then hang up a cute mirror, and magnets, and anything else that makes your locker look spiffy. :D oh yeah, and sorry if your a dude. xD

I have a design degree so I'll answer this one. Because you are in a smaller space, function is the word. Stay away from furniture that doesn't serve a purpose. Make the space as simple as possible. NO CLUTTER. Also, if you are buying furniture, make sure it is the same scale as the room. I wouldn't buy a huge sectional sofa, instead I may pick out a loveseat or three seater sofa that isn't too heavy looking. When choosing colors, pick lighter shades of your favorite colors. It will give the room alittle more of a spacy feeling. Try not to hang heavy curtains on the windows, instead maybe some attractive shades that are light in color. Look through some magazines and get some ideas. Just because a space is small, doesn't mean that it can't be exquisite.
