If you are decorating for a young person, it would be best not to go for a themed room... young women change their minds fairly quickly... so paint the walls a good neutral and add accessories in the latest trend as often as you like.

The powder room off the main entrance is black and white with red accents.

There are several ways that you can decorate a locker. You can do so with pictures, magnets, and magazine clippings. Many stores also offer decorations for lockers such as mirrors and collapsable shelves to organize your items.

The method you will use to clean off chalk will depend on where the chalk is. Sidewalk chalk can be washed away from sidewalks with a hose.

While it may seem boring now with just one color of paint on the walls and without accent color. Painting the room in light colors-beige, light blue, a shade of white (and there are many!) will make the room appear larger. Also, declutter; all of us tend to put too much unnecessary "stuff" in a room. That makes it look smaller, too. If you have a large closet, try putting the dresser in there. That will give you a lot of extra space. Shelves, instead of bedside tables also appear more spacious. Don't hang a lot of things on all the walls. Try to focus on one area, perhaps over a desk. That would be an ideal place for a message board. Another trick to enlarge a space is to hang a mirror; preferably on a wall across from a window to reflect the light and the outdoor scene. Now, you're ready for the TAH DAH! You can purchase paper lanterns for a reasonable price at craft stores such as Michael's. You can also buy it in bulk online and get it for a cheaper price.

Black works great as a contrast to the orange, but it depends on how bright the color is.

Depending on the sub-flooring and the quality of the linoleum the job will be easy or a "Bear." It really isn't the floor covering that is difficult it is the adhesive used. the linoleum should come off relatively with little effort it is the adhesive that is tough.

Depending on your situation and the condition of the floor structure, consider using a razor to remove small areas that are bubbled or curling, then fill in those areas to level and then consider adding another layer of 1/4 inch plywood to supply a new base for your replacement flooring.

If the addition of a new underlayment is not an option, scraping the existing adhesive is possible (please wear a mask.) Good Luck.

You could decorate the room in gender-neutral colours or colours such as beige, brown, yellow, red or blue. Keep it simple- don't overdo it. Well it depends on what you like. Some ways to do a room makeover is painting your room a theme you like or putting up posters and pictures of people you like. For example-- if you like sports you can hang a basketball hoop above your bed and put up sporting type posters. If you have medals and diplomas you can hang them up. In other words, making a room makeover has lots to do with how your wall looks. Its nice to show of things you like in your room and it also gives a nice feeling. Tidying up your room also helps a lot. So, have fun.

If you cannot visualize the room differently, first empty it. Clean the walls, fill in the holes and paint and clean the flooring. Then, add back the bed and basic furniture. Once that is arranged, bring back items that seem to fit. Throw away or give away the rest--storage of these items is not wise in the long run (they get ruined), and you will probably never use them again. You can ask siblings or friends if they want the leftovers. Things will seem new in your renovated space.

I assume you mean a poster to hang on your walls in a dorm room or something along those lines? I would recommend putting together the image you want using a program like Adobe Photoshop. Then take the photo to a printing place like Kinkos and have them blow it up your picture.

It really depends on your taste and what look you are going for. However, if you want the living room to look larger, use cream colors and/or icy blues. Bright colors can make the room look more modern if used correctly, and white or other light colors can create an airy, comfortable feel. Try warm colors if you are going for the cozy/inviting aura. It is not a good idea to install tile on top of anything that will degrade over time, is softer and more flexible than the tile, or is not securely set to the floor or sub-floor, as most cork floors are "floating" floors. Save yourself any aggravation and remove the cork. Chances are it will come up much easier than you might think, even if it's glued down.

It's very important to keep your room clean. When things are left lying around it collects dust wich isn't healthy. When you enter your room and you find clothes lying on the floor, strapped over your bed or papers scattered all over your desk, this will put stress on you, especially when there's not even room to walk!

Small things like a clean room (wich is maybe a big thing) can make your life more enjoyable! I'm seriouse! I know it sounds dumb.

If the fixtures and or tiles are green, use aqua, sage green or a warm tan colour on the walls. Accessories in chrome or chrome and brass, towels in white will looks great And a shower curtain in a pattern that includes the green and your wall colour will finish the look out.

Since you have some primary and neutral colors going on already, I would suggest a pop of color to the room. Possibly a red or reddish colored area rug to liven up the area. Another option may be to match a color accent that you already have in the room....such as a color in a throw pillow or favorite art piece. Try not be afraid of color and take risks with your decor. How about a light neutral color such as beige, light tan or even plain white? A lighter shade of blue might work, too, depending on the color of the carpet. Also, if you can cut a small piece of the carpet and take it to your paint store, the salesperson should be able to help you match something up.
