How much nitro fuel does a RC car use Or How many hours would a quart of nitro fuel last?

It depends on many things. In RC racing, A quart of fuel would last anywhere from 60 minutes of running time to 90 minutes, depending on motor size, vehicle , engine tune (rich or lean)., etc.

I race RC off road 1/8 scale and qualifiers are usually 5 to 7 minutes and "A" mains are usually 30 to 45 minutes long. Most races run 3 qualifiers and then the Main event. One quart of fuel should last you one or two races depending on how much you practice.

In the leisure RC hobby or "backyard basher" world, It just depends on how much you use it and how the engine is tuned. I have seen people get 5 minutes of run time out of tank and I have seen someone else with the same vehicle get 7 1/2 minutes.

How big is a remote control NASCAR race car?

I was given an original shell from Jeff Gordon from 103rd St Hobby Shop in Jacksonville, FL for my dying Husband who was the biggest Gordon fan while alive! This man at that hobby shop would never sell this car shell, but gave it to me to give to my husband David. I still possess it. It is the coca-cola days when he was racing before pepsi on his hood is Dupont. He raced gas at this hobby shop, I measured it with a ruler so my dimension may be incorrect but the car is 19 inches long and back end is approximately 7 inches long. If you need more info you can contact the hobby shop above he should remember us and tell you about this car. If I haven't been able to properly answer your question. Good Luck and God Bless you and your family! Tina Passmore

What does some collectors get interested in collecting a die cast toy car?

If you ask any diecast collector why they collect, they will tell you that it's about the vehicles. They like vehicles, cars, trucks, buses, tractors and all kinds of other things that move. They collect diecast replicas to be able to have the vehicles that they like and most of all, get to have them in scale so they can have many of them. It's easier and of course much less expensive to have the scale model than to own the real thing. The collector is able to have as many as they would like and in as many different colors and styles as they can find. They can display them and look at them any time they wish.

Value of Britains Ltd metal toy soldiers?

Values vary from $1 (or £1, or whatever country you're in) to $1000 - it depends which figures you're talking about, and their condition. There is no easy way to tell, you just have to learn about all of them - there are plenty of reference books.

Sets or other items (e.g. horse drawn carts etc from their farm range) in original boxes are usually worth about double what the same items would be without the box - in some cases there is an even bigger difference. For example, some years ago a boxed set of Britains plastic (also collectable - not just lead now) Robin Hood set, made circa 1960, sold for about UK£1200. It was a very attractive box, made to look like a scene in Sherwood Forest, but stll, the set of 5 figures on their own in good condition usually go for about £100 - so that means the carton was worth £1100!

Empty boxes are valuable, and bought by collectors who have (or think they can find) the figures which go in them. Britains boxes have a set number, and the reference books show which figures should go in which number box.

And don't get too hung up about Britains Ltd figures - their competitors' (e.g. JoHillCo, Timpo, Taylor & Barrett, Hanks Bros, Pixyland/Kew) figures are just as collectable and with a similar range of values
