That would be insubordination. Slaves have no recourse, but the rest of us may politely and respectfully disagree with a boss or ranking officer. In fact, that is what you say , EX: " Sir, [ or Maa'm ] , I beg your pardon , but I respectfully disagree with that statement [ or order, or decision or whatever] .You still have to folllow a lawful order or direction, but if it puts you in a moral dilemma , you have recourse in the military up a chain of command, and in the world with the Labor Board. Being insubordinate is a reactive response. It's OK to be proactive in defending your moral , ethical , or religious values.

No, because after the Civil War had ended, another event started. That event was called Reconstruction.There were many things that had happened during this. For example, the 13th, 1414, and 15th Amendments were add to the Constitution. The 13th Amendment said that there shall be no slavery in the U.S. anymore. The 14th Amendment said that everyone that is born in the U.S. is a citizen and should be treated equal to everyone else. And lastly, the 15th Amendment said that anyone could vote or hold public office. And adding to that, slaves were no longer slaves, as many years passed by many other events occurring during Reconstruction.

Homeless people can be discriminated against on a structural level as well as a personal level. In other words , on a personal level they can be targeted by individuals who look at them with disgust, or even by violence, being attacked simply for being homeless.

On a structural level, they get discriminated against in employment, as if they have no fixed abode they are unable to apply for jobs, but even if they get an interview they can be knocked back due to fact that they are living in a hostel.

Homeless people can also be discriminated against, inadevertantly by large corporations, such as local authorities, who have procedures and protocol, but if homeless people have not got the skills or prior knowledge of what is expected of thm, such as where to access help or able to complete a form due to literacy problems, they will not receive help they need.

If you are a homophobe. The reason why it is considered to be an "unjust law" is the massive amount of religious conservatives who believe they must carry on whatever their religions 'require'. Notice how many references are made to the bible when said homophobes attempt to justify their biast answers.

There is no evidence of that. In the USA, Jews are about 5% of the popukation and they do business with Jews and the 95% of businesses and workers who are non-Jews.

There can be many types and forms of discrimination. Once you make a distinction of someone not basing it on personal merit it is an act of discrimination Such forms are; sexism, racism, sexual orientation, religious and spiritual belief, age, class, size (fat-thin), ethnicity, social class, wealth etc.. Let it be clear that you can find ANYTHING to discriminate for. Example, i can discriminate against you because you have short hair or no hair or discriminate against bearded men or discriminate against tall people or people who wear shoes if i felt like it. It can be a broad range.

The 1st amendment is supposed to protect free speech (though that is being undermined ironically by "liberals" along with our 2nd and 4th amendments).

It is wrong because kids, teens, adults and seniors should not be treated differently because of their age. We should not exaggerate it, and let a child become a doctor but it is just not polite to speak to a child in a baby voice, or in slurred syllables.

The major stakeholders in racism are all within society. Racism serves as a deterrent to a fully functioning society, with each individual operating at his or her highest potential. Racism affects this goal by putting barriers in place, that will serve to inhibit education and occupational achievement. The ultimate goal of society is full employment of its human resources. Racism is a major deterrent.

It wasn't good! Even in the war in Vietnam there was a problem with blacks vs whites. (Note: Not all white soldiers disliked blacks.) Blacks eventually retaliated (good for them) and asked their country "If we are not good enough to drink from your water fountains and have the same freedoms as you, why should we fight for this country." I would say that is one heck of a good question! Racism is still alive and well, but blacks are gaining more and more control of gaining respect for their race. There are fine actors, lawyers, doctors, etc., out there. Intelligence is always a good tool in winning anything. During many wars (back to the Civil War) history books managed to keep out the part of blacks winning many victories in the Civil War, WWII and Vietnam. Blacks complained especially in WWII and Vietnam that they were often asked to do the most dangerous duties such as lead man scouting for enemies. (White soldiers were given this job as well, but 7 out of 10 times it was a black soldier.) The word "grunt soldier" fit them to a T during this time and means that they had to fight their way ahead and hopefully stay alive long enough to report back to their commanding officer. After the Vietnam War the "Wall of Names" as I so lovingly refer to it, was hit again by some people of society not wanting black soldiers names on this wall. Thank God, that the good people of America out-weighed the not so intelligent. Any man/woman that gives up their life for their country, no matter the color of their skin or their race, should have all honors from the military that they so deserve.

Before Jesus there was no racism because before there was Jesus there was God and he loved his children he created everything and everyone of every color and not only that he did not jugde or turn any of his kids by what they did become or what they wanted to be and neither did he take their life because of their color.

I work in American Eagle and I can say that they dont discrimnate when it comes to sexual preference.
