How do you change a starter in a 1996 Dodge Intrepid?
My Guess would be if you look underneath by the rear of the motor you should see a round object about 8 to 12 inches longand 4 to 6 inches in diamiter. if i am right all you need to do is take a wrench and take out the bolts!
More specificallyOn a 3.3l engine the starter is about mid-engine on the driver's side. Follow the positive battery cable down to help locate it.The starter is held in with three bolts. If I recall, they are 15mm heads. I was only able to use a socket on one of them, the other two required a wrench and more time. Small hands are helpful. Once the three bolts are out, you'll need to unbolt the battery cable and unplug the solenoid wire. When reinstalling, do not over-tighten the battery cable bolt or you can damage the new starter.

94 dodge Intrepid brake lights stay on when car not running?
If the brake lights stay on when the car is not running on most vehicles, including the 1994 Dodge Intrepid, there is probably a short somewhere in the wiring to the brake lights. The first place to investigate this problem would be the wires along the firewall that control the brake lights.
Also, check the brake light switch above the brake pedal.

Where is cradle bushing located on a 94 Dodge Intrepid?
The frame for the LH series of cars has a "sub-frame" or cradle which carries the engine/transmission. This sub-frame is bolted to the main chassis of the car with four large "cradle bushings" to islolate vibrations and such. If you jack up the car a little bit, and look underneath, you will readily see the engine cradle. You will see the four round mounts, two at the front, and two towards the back, where the rear transmission mount is. Each bushing is each is about 3 inches in diameter. They kinda look like an inverted cone with a large bolt head in the middle, with rubber squishing out around the outside edge of them. JH

How do you change the Blend Air Door Actuator on a 2000 Dodge Intrepid?
I am faced with the same problem. I have had no heat for 2 weeks now, and Ohio keeps getting colder. Pulled a diagram of what the 00 Intrepid hvac system looks like, but I think I pulled the wrong motor. The heat blend door actuator, from what my buddy at work told me, is at the bottom of the center console in the dash, and you have to pull the ENTIRE DASH out to change the blend door. I told him, all I want to do is find it and push it open manually, then use a wire hanger to make sure it doesn't shut again. He said, "cool, start pulling the dash out, cuz you're gonna have to do it no matter what." ALSO!!!! As a side note, I thought I might add...there is a little known door at the top, passenger side of the module, called the recirculation door. If this door is shut, you could be looking at a loss of heat as well, seeing as it recirculates the air from inside the vehicle. I'd go with the heat blend door to start though...Will keep you posted as I gut my ride tomorrow.

Why does the instrument cluster on a 1993 Chrysler Intrepid shut off after working for 5 minutes?
The instrument cluster gets its power/signal from the Body Control Module. I believe it is located behind the carpet somewhere by the passenger foot area. Not saying this is bad, but it's definitely something to check into.
