Where is fuel pump in 1997 Dodge Ram 1500?

It is located inside your fuel tank (unfortunately) so repair/replacement of the pump will have to involve taking out your gas tank to get to it.

How do you replace a fuel pump for a 1993 Dodge Ram 250 Van?

The fuel pump is located inside the gas tank. The gas tank has to be removed, first.

I would suggest getting a Chilton's or Haynes repair manual which you can get fairly reasonably at any auto parts store. This should take you through, step by step.

If the fuel pump is bad, would it still run like new at times, other times takes a will get it started./

Where is the blower motor resistor located on a 2000 dodge ram van?

IT IS LOCATED UNDER THE DASHBOARD ON THE PASSENGER SIDE ON THE FIREWALL, APPROXIMATELY BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX. IT LOOKS RECTANGULAR WITH A SCREW ON EACH END AND AN ELECTRICAL PLUG WITH SEVERAL WIRES. REMOVE THE PLUG AND SCREWS AND REMOVE FROM FIREWALL TO INSPECT THE RESISTOR COILS ON THE OTHER SIDE. IF THE COILS ARE INTACT, THE PROBLEM IS PROBABLY A FAULTY CONNECTION AT THE ELECTRICAL PLUG.

But if you have a conversion van which has a aftermarket heat and air, its located under the hood passenger side on the front of the air box, where the heater and a/c coil is located.

How do you change oil in a 1999 Camry?

fist things first you will need, new oil and filter for your car. (most likely about 5 quartz) you will need a wrench, and a drain pan for the oil you are draining. and also an "oil filter wrench". and maybe a set(2) of car ramps (recommended). you will also need some rags. carefully drive the front wheels onto the car ramps. don't let the engine run too long because you will be working on it and it will be quite hot. after the parking brake is set and the car will not roll off of the ramps, crawl under the front and find the engine oil pan from underneath, it should look pretty smooth with rounded corners, most likely it will be black. it should have a flat bottom. there should be a bolt installed in that pan, that bolt is your "drain plug" if your engine is hot (it could be about 200 degrees) then open the hood and go have lunch or something to let it cool off. with your drain pan, position it beneath your drain plug. keep in mind that the oil will "shoot" a few inches out from the oil pan...position the pan so that the edge is just forward of the plug and the rest is towards the back (in the direction of the angle of the drain plug) with your wrench, lossen the drain plug. loosen the plug with your hand, unless it is hot..then wait longer. when it is almost all the way out, remove it fast. now wait for the oil to drain, onlyl a few minutes. watch it though, as the "trajectory" will change as it drains. when the oil is done, reinstall the plug...not too tight but "snug" locate the oil filter, you should know what it looks like because you have already purchased a new one...they may not be the same color, but they look the same. position the drain pan under the oil filer, there is only a little oil in the filter. with your oil filter wrence (or maybe your hand...hopefully) remove the oil filter OVER the drain pan. keep the drain pan under where the oil filter was...get out from under the car. get your new filter, and a qual of oil...with your finger, rub some new oil on the rubber seal. with a rag, wipe off the sealing suface where the oil filter goes, the flat spot where the rubber seal will go. install the new filter. only hand tight. this doesn't need to be "gorrilla gripped" remove your self and the drain pan from under the car after you double check the drain plug and filter. install 3.5 quartz of oil into the engine through the top of the engine, there should be a oil cap, it might even be labeled "oil" it should be about 2 inches or so in diamter on the very top of the engine. start the engine, for long enough to back off of the ramps, carfully. that will be enough time for oil to circulate and fill up the oil filter. check for leaks. check the oil level and fill accordingly. the "hash mark" area on the dipstick, generally represents 1 quart of oil. so if your level is at the bottom of that hash mark area, then 1 quart should take you to the top, full mark. Hope this helps, if you get to the point where you doubt your skills...go to jiffy lube or something.

Happy oil change.

How do you lower a Dodge Ram?

You could do it yourself but that is to diffucult to explain i would say u fork out a couple hundred bucks and take it down to a auto body shop with a few Mexican workers. Ask to have the Mexican guys work on it while your truck is lowered because they seem to do the best job. Beaners love lowered trucks just as much as they love lowering them so you are garunteed a great product once you get your vehicle back.
