if the tool won't work you can try hydraulics fill the cavity behind the bushing with grease and wrap the end of your greasegun with eletrical tape till it has a tight fit in the bore of the bushing and pump the grease gun while holding the end in the bushing this should force the bushing out from the back if that dont work fillthe cavity with grease and find a bolt the will fit with tape wraped around it and hit it with a hammer this will shock the bushing loose keepadding grease till it pops out.

is it the turn dial 4x4 selector or the manual selector?if its the dial it could be a bad motor that engages the hubs. It could be the vacuum switches in the engine compartment on the passenger side, with ours it was the one that kept it in 2 wheel drive that was gone, vented vacuum so 4x4 would not pull in.

The compression in each cylinder should be within 10% of the others. 125 to 140 is rather poor, below that it probably won't start.

Two ways remove the crossmember and drop the pan or loosen the motor mounts and jack up the motor.Hope this helps you will be doing the same thing in two days.

The fuse panel is behind a plastic panel directly under the steering column. If you look from below, you will see the panel is about 6" wide and has a little tab on the side facing the front of the truck. The fuse panel is holding on to that tab. You need to carefully bend the tab down to release the fuse panel, then you will be able to slide it out from it's hiding place. Try pushing the edge of the fuse panel toward the steering wheel with your fingertips so you won't have to bend the tab as much.

Be careful not to break the tab when you remove the fuse panel. These trucks are old, and the plastic can be brittle. The little tab is the only thing holding the fuse panel in place.

This applies to full size Dodge trucks from 1989 to 1993.

It's located behind the glovebox, on the passanger side of the dash.

How hard is it to get to the fan motor?

You can remove the headlamp and drill a small hole in the bottom but this is not recomended.the correct way is to simply replace it

The stock rim size should be either 17" or 20". If you look on the tire itself, you will see some numbers that look similar to this ( 245/70R17). The "R" stands for the size rim. So what ever number comes after the "R", that is the inches of the rim. In this case, it would be a 17" rim.

Try your catalytic convertor mine was plugged removed it and regained all lost power

ppl say a truck cap doesn't fit on my 2015 ram but I think a 2007 truck still fits....the tailgate is just different look.?

The fuel filter on a 2005 Ram 1500 is part of the pump module in the fuel tank.

Could be 3.21:1,3.55:1,or 4.10:1 . The dealer could tell you off of the vin, there may be a tag on the axle, or you could count how many times the driveshaft turns for every turn of the wheel.

i have the cap off but i need 2 mke sure i put it bck on rght their is a black button on the cap when i put the cap on does it go on the left or the right?

The cap will only fit one way. The areas on the cap at the screws are different. One is square, the other is round.

Excuse me if I'm wrong because I don't know everything. So I'm gonna take a stab at this with what I do know. ( you didn't specify what model) On a 2001 dodge 2500 5.9L 24 valve Turbo diesel; if the speed sensor goes out, your speedometer will not work, the cruise control will not work, and the ABS and brake lights will remain "on". Some times if it is erratice or bad, the speedometer needle will bounce around. Sometimes the above symptoms will all occur simultaneously and sometimes randomly but rest assured they will all occur pretty quickly. The rear speed sensor on this vehicle is located on the upper front center of the differential and is relatively easy and inexpensive to replace. I won't go into further detail but you can read all about it if you visit your local auto parts store and purchase an after market shop manual for your particular automobile. It will make a splendid, wonderful and special addition to your technical library.

It is in the side of the oil filler housing. Just behind the oil cap.
