How can you build a bite sleeve?

Well u can use a motor cycle tire or a small trailer tire cut it in half I used a grinder it worked pretty well than u cut a portion for ur arm from one of the halfs measuring from ur elbow to a couple inches past ur hand than cut a price from ur shoulder to aprox. 3-4 inches past ur elbow wen both peicess are cut get two nuts and two bolts and four washers u will use these to create the joint placing one on the left side of the tire wall than the other. u only want enough of the threads to stick out to get the nut and washer on once u join both peices get a nut and bolt to use for the handle it needs to be long enough to go into the left or right tire wall than through the other tire wall once again selecting a bolt that only allows enough threads to get the nut on so the dog won't get hurt u may want to wrap this bolt in tape or a hose for comfort. The sleeve is now built all that is left to do is cut slits along the tire walls for straps to secure one tire wall to the other which will keep it on ur arm that's it. DO NOT LET UR DOG BIT IT WITH OUT A SLEEVE COVER!!!!!!!!! their are wires in the tire that could hurt the dog it is important that all the bolts are only long enough to get the nuts on! If their are more threads sticking out past the nuts it could impail u or the dog depending which way u place them

Does 1800petmeds purchase Heartgard plus directly from Meriel limited?

I contacted 1800petmeds and they in fact do not purchase the Heartgard Plus directly from Merial Limited. I then contacted Merial who only sells to vets, and was told that they cannot speculate where any on-line pharmacy gets their medications. I then attempted to solve this by calling 1800petmeds who told me they have a vet who purchases their medications in large quantities from Merial or any other manufacturer. This is how they have the same medications as regular vets. I researched this through my local vet, Merial Limited, and 1800petmeds which took a fair amount of time to complete. Bottom line as of right now, they are comparable to anything in the vet's office.

How much does it cost to remove a duclaw on a one year old dog?

.Hi there, are your pups dewclaws bone attached or skin attached?? That makes a huge difference in the difficulty of surgery and cost. When the dewclaws are bone attached, the surgery is of course more difficult as you are actually doing an amputation of the digit, skin attached, you are just removing the skin and claw portion.

When they remove bone attached dewclaws, the surgical area will be wrapped for quite a bit longer. Most of the time when the dewclaws are skin attached they only wear the wraps for a few days and have the sutures removed in 10-14 days. Bone attached sutures are also removed at 10-14 days.

The surgery for bone attached claws is more painful so we send pain meds home with the owner to help with the pups recovery.

i have seen the bone attached removal one go for around $100.00

Answer

If you want a natural good pet food go with a holistic formula. Here are a few brands: Canidae, Natural Balance, Solid Gold, Fromm, Eagle Pack, Wysong, Wellness, Timberwolf, and Taste of the Wild. Stay away from foods that have by-products, corn, wheat, soy, and dyes in them. Hope that helps you!

Answer

I apologize that my answer is going to be a little long but I have had many friends lose dogs lately and this has become a passion of mine and I have spent a ton of time researching. Home cooking for your dog is great but it is very time consuming and very difficult to maintain the correct balance of proteins and carbs over the long haul.

You have to learn to read through the optical illusions the AAFCO allows manufacturers to place on labels. Their definition of "Natural" includes rendered products. Rendered products (usually anything on your label containing the word "Meal" - chicken meal, meat meal, fish meal, etc ) are far worse for your dog even than byproducts. Manufacturers are allowed to use the word Organic in strange ways as well. I can found a dog food company tomorrow called Johnny's Organic Dog food and it is quite legal even though I have no organic ingredients.

A far more important thing to look for than natural is the phrase "Human Grade". This simply means that they start with ingredients that are fit for human consumption. No 4-D (dead, diseased, dying or disabled) animals which are legal and common in commercial grade foods. No moldy grains - the leading cause of grain allergies - which are also allowed in pet grade foods.

Without rambling on too long, if you absolutely need to feed a commercial food try to find something like the Halo line that is carried at Petco. It is human grade and their dry food contains no "meal". Having said that if you want what I consider to be the absolute best dog food on the market I suggest a small boutique company that has a small but loyal following amongst the rich and famous. Lucky Dog Cuisine.

They do an all natural, human grade food that is made from only the finest human grade ingredients. It is difficult to find outside of the Southeast United states but I believe they now have or will shortly have an online delivery program. I feed my dog that exclusively and I have a couple of friends who have now started to mix it in with a "no meal" dry food.

Hope this helps.

What is Glad Wrap made out of?

Glad Wrap, also known as cling film or plastic wrap, is primarily made from polyethylene, a type of plastic. Specifically, it is often produced from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) or linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), which gives it its clingy properties. These materials are chosen for their flexibility, transparency, and ability to create an airtight seal, making them ideal for food storage.

What can synotic be used for?

What food does dogs eat?

well they mostly eat any kind of dog food. however, they can eat mostly anything we eat. however, you fill find that some foods will cause your dog to be sick or to have diarrhoea.

the only thing your dog should NOT eat is chicken bones. this is because when he/she bites it, its turns into little needles and can get stuck in their throat and they can die.

I cook a bit of meat and pasta/rice to go with the dry food for my dog (1yr old, German Shepard)

What are the safest chew toys for a puppy?

Rawhide bones are good.

Another answer

Rawhide bones are good, our dogs get them but we never leave them alone with them because they can get caught in their throats and they can choke. If, you have a large dog the "kong" chew toys are very good, course medium sized dogs can chew them too, they are very heavy rubber.
