I use a cat kennel for my little girl. It has closed sides, so she feels safe when she is in her "Bed". When she takes something she isn't supposed to have, she gives herself up because she runs for her bed, and then looks out to see if anyone has noticed. Usually she sleeps beside my head on my pillow (not my idea). Once I drift off she joins me there. Most of the time she will sleep by my feet, she feels close and comfortable. If she dozes through the daytime or if we have company, she will go to her bed and sleep. She feels safe there, and then if I go out and can't take her with us...I lock her inside and she usually just goes to sleep.

Many prefer sand as it drains well and won't become muddy. Some use pea stone but if you have a dog that eats rocks or stone that could be a problem. If your dog likes to dig you will need to put block or some other solid material around the perimeter to keep the dog from digging under. Concrete is also a option but can be hard on a dogs joints depending on the breed and size of the dog. Concrete is easy to clean, hose down and they can not dig. It will also keep their nails filed down nicely.

The above link is anecdotal and misinforms. Persin is found in fruit and is oil soluable so it will be found in higher concentration in the oil than the whole fruit. Just because no problems are noticed doesn't mean the length and quality of life are not affected. No one knows how the poison works or what the toxc amounts are or whether the effects add up over time. Decreased exercise capacity may be attributed to age when it could be the cumuative effect of avacado oil exposure. I think it's foolish to feed a poison to your dog when no one knows the long term effects. See the discussion.

He probably has rabies and should be put down. Check with your vet on the cost of euthenasia.

uhhh.. no.. rabies doesn't show up exclusively when you take your dog for a walk. It's either there or it isn't.

The dog froths and snorts only when being walked? Is the collar too tight? Is he pulling to hard on the leash and choking himself? You might want to talk to a vet about this just to be safe.

Be very careful about buying any dog anywhere. Investigate to make sure the dog doesn't come from a puppy mill. Check out who you are buying from as much as you can. If you want a pure bred make sure it comes from a reputable breeder. You might want to consider getting a 'pup' from a no-kill facility that needs a home instead of having breeders making more dogs. If the person you are buying from checks out, you are pretty safe getting your pooch...but you should get a return policy in case the pup doesn't work out with your situation.

sometimes if the person bein punished has a concience and realizes wat he or she has done is wrong.

but in circumstances like if he believes that he didnt do anything wrong or he exceeded effort to do things right but the situation turned out badly for some ironic reason,can possibly make him take things negatively.and as i meant with "negatively" is grudge that may lead to revenge.

the bottomline is that it always depends in the situation if he deserves the punishment and he is aware of what he's done wrong then it could possibly IMPROVE the behavior...but if his side was not clearly understood ,it may only WORSEN the behavior. self- destructive behavior is the main possible cause.
