For this question i will use the simple method of house training your dog:
When your dog starts to pee, say/shout "no" then gentley push your dog out of the door so they know what will happen if they do pee on the carpet.
P.S: If your dog starts to sniff alot around the house make sure you keep an eye on them because they may be ready to have a poo/pee.

Get the dog an "elizabethan collar" and give it a bath in soap for fleas. Get spray for fleas from the vet that will kill the fleas during their gestation cycle in your house. If you vacuum, be sure to spray inside the bag before putting it into the outside garbage.

Try making what is called a Shaker Bottle: Get a bottle and put at least a handful of coins or pebbles in it, and seal the cap with tape. When your dogs make any sign of marking or peeing in a place you don't want them to, shake the bottle. This should distract them from what they were doing as the bottle makes a loud noise that startles them. As they look at you for causing the noise, sternly command 'NO PEE'.
