We are currently hatching goose eggs in a box with a light, but you have to spray them a lot and rotate them 4-5 times a day. Ours are just about ready to hatch, I just heard them chirping today. Its so cool.

I have a male duck,,,and he's never been around any other type of animal,,only dogs...And here recently he started liking my female dogs alot...So i finially found him 2 female ducks,,today...And he acts like he's scared to death of them,and wants to go hang around with the male dog..I'm not really sure what the kinds of ducks i have,,but in tother words,,they are different,,,do ducks like their own kind,,,I figured since he liked my dogs that any kind of duck would be better than my dog..so if someone could I'm new at this...and i need to know if *HAROLD* is gonna like ducks...THANK-YOU...

It depends on the size of the duck. But they usually don't.

What kind of eggs are they, and what do you want to do with them??? There are really too many variables to give you a good answer with what little information you've provided us with. If you don't want them, just scrape them off and throw them away. To hatch them, you need to know what kind of eggs they are, and if any of your current aquarium habitants might prey on them. You may have to remove them, you may need to let them be, but section off part of the tank, they may be fine just as they are. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Ask anyone who breeds ornamental waterfowl in captivity... If the parent is close-by, she will probably go nuts, even fly at you and deposit a smelly present on you, but otherwise it is fine to touch them EXCEPT that they may scatter in fear and in dense vegetation may get lost.

It is possible that the chicken might - I have had a chicken hatch a turkey egg, a duck egg and of course a chicken egg. My duck has hatched turkeys, ducks and chicken, and my turkey had hatched turkeys and chickens (though we had to take the eggs off her when they started to hatch because she is a big turkey, and squashes them). It the egg is not too big for the chicken, I think it should be alright. You've just got to make sure that she doesn't turn the egg out of the nest for either being to big, not enough room with other eggs, or any other reason. I think it would be best if you only give the hen the egg, and maybe 1 or 2 chicken eggs if she is a big chook. You could always try an incubator if you have one too. Good luck of hatching it!

Not necessarily. It does however mean that those eggs are probably no good. She doesn't need to focus any of her attention on them anymore, so if they're not hatching then they're dead.
