How could detect if there is any blood around the window frame if someone cut themselves?

I found a link to this question, but don't seem to be able to pull up the actual question, so I don't know how old it is or the circumstances.

If you are trying to find blood in order to identify whoever you think broke your window, get law enforcement involved. They will have access to luminol, which will reveal if there is any blood.

Who manufactures auto parts under the Replacement brand?

Replacement brand is manufactured in China.

Add'l Info: Gary in Manchester TN, USA.

"Replacement" is a brand name of new replacement (aftermarket not Original Equipment Manufacturer ie OEM) auto parts manufactured in China and sold through many parts outlets including Partstrain, AutoPartsWarehouse, JC Whitney.

In some cases they appear to be used as a private label for some distributors as well. At least in many cases of parts I have, their part numbers start with "REP" then another letter and 6 numerals.

Prices are worth checking as I have an alternator that is REPH330124 and it is nwe not rebuilt. It is $82.30 at one place and $124.06 at another.

Hope this helps someone. Gary

Most, if not all 1992+ CV/GM have "window lock" switch on Master Control for windows/locks located on L/F (driver's) doorpanel that disables all except L/F. Easy means to disable the rears "semi-permanently" is to remove rear doorpanels and unplug the motors.

How do you troubleshoot a non-working power window on a 1998 Honda crv?

I would go in this order: (1) check the fuse (2) remove door panel to gain access to window motor and check the presence of voltage in the wire leads when the switch is activated (make sure the ignition is on). if voltage is present in the leads when the switch is operated then the motor is probably bad. If no voltage is present when switch is operated (3) check the switch itself. (4) aIf the switch itself is good check the continuity in the wire leads from the switch to the door, the wire may be broken or shorted somewhere. Good luck.

Why would the power window switch be out in both the main door switch and the other door switch?

Both window switch on the front door will lower the window, the problem is that both switch will not raise the window back up to its close position and also the master window switch on the Driver's side will not operate all the time nor will the master

door lock on the driver's side lock the passenger side door. On several ocasion the driver's side window switch lowered it's window and it would'nt raise the window back up unless after quite a few minutes playing with the window switch, opening the door, etc.

what causes it is the real thin plastic that holds the bar on the elevator. Its easier to go to a junk yard to get a replacement since they will try to sell you the full set at any parts store. The car is not that knew so it shouldn't be that expensive.

What does the National Electric Code - NEC - say about socket outlets under a window?

As always, if you are in doubt about what to do, the best advice anyone should give you is to call a licensed electrician to advise what work is needed and to advise you what you may be allowed to do yourself. Before you do any work yourself

on electrical circuits, equipment or appliances,

always use a test meter to ensure the circuit is, in fact, de-energized.

IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY SURE YOU CAN DO THIS JOB

Why does the drivers side window work but not the passenger side?

2007 Saturn ion passenager window wont go down replaced motor door switch & driver side main switch

Why do your power window work sometimes and sometimes not?

* Maybe something with the car or window broken. * it is broken * Make sure the engine is running. The windows won't work if the car is parked and idle. * There is a short somewhere in the electrical circuit, possibly being caused by a corroded switch, which sometimes completes the circuit and other times does not.
