Have there been sightings of Santa Claus at the North Pole?

In fact I am trying to find a black and white newsreel segment from about 1949 or early 1950s. It opens with a blank screen and a male voice over saying something about we are at the North Pole and wonder if we will see Santa Claus. Is that Santa over there hooking his reindeer to his sled? Sir, can we have a word with you?
You see a jolly looking Santa Claus by himself who says he was just getting ready for a practice flight and would we like to watch, voice replys yes.
We then hear in the distance Santa evidently calling to the reindeer and you see the moon and Santa with sleigh and reindeer flying and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!

I notice nobody ever claimed that the creature was vicious or violent. Nobody was ever attacked or injured. Following a car is a curiousity action. An aggressive act would be following and attacking a car. In all the reports the Mothman seems to be curious of humans. Peering through a window but not attempting to break it. I like to believe there are things out there that aren't discovered yet. But even though there were over 100 reports of the Mothman, I find this 1 difficult to believe. Mainly the flying without the use of his wings. Which is basically saying it doesn't need wings to fly, so why does it have wings if it doesn't need them? Also, if it's eyes were located on its chest then how would it be able see where it was flying? If it flew with it's body parallel to the ground (like Superman) then it would be staring at the the ground and crash into trees and buildings etc. If it flew in a standing position(like a guy on a jet pack) then it would not be able to see how high or low it was off the ground. A creature capable of flight needs to be able to see in all directions. Mothman would need to move his body in the direction he wants to see which would change his direction of flight. His description actually hinders him from doing the things he was claimed to have done. It was probably some joker experimenting with a jet pack, which was invented late 50's/early 60's or wasn't LSD really popular in the 60's?
